I include balance in "playability", so in some cases playability is necessary over Biblical accuracy. In most cases, though, accuracy is good and fine and nice even if it means the card is never "meta".

Basically, I think playability is more important. However, I think you can easily have both for any card you make.
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

I choose both. Yes, it is a bit harder but there have been many, many examples of great playability and biblical accuracy through the years.

They can go hand in hand as long as you find ways to implement the biblical theme in the game mechanics.  Like how conversion (typically) changes a bad guy into a good guy, or how the sons of Jacob have numbers coinciding with the order of their birth.

As long as the character was in the Bible and was recognizably good or evil it shouldn't be that hard to make a card.

Playability, but frequently the most playable cards will be biblically accurate, too. Simon Zealotes, anyone?

I like as accurate as possible while making it playable, that being said you don't have to nitpick over details (except Identifiers, those should always be accurate.

Most agreed. I think the accuracy should be above the other functions of the card. But I also imagine just being creative enough would suffice in making the card playable enough. But if we're looking for accuracy there should be a whole lot more features to the game.

A while back ago I remember seeing an inspired animal brigade which I think was called "cobalt". It would be cool to have animals mentioned in scripture where that brigade is unique to others like only that brigade is neither evil or good so they could block or attack because they're animals. If it was a horse (which was common transportation in Biblical times) it would have been nice to have it band to a human character. Stuff like that would be cool.

Other than that, having identifiers on every card would really help the depth of accuracy and so on.

My favorite (and totally accurate) identifier is TGT's "Empty!".  Though it should say "If Son of God is discarded, you may place it here for three turns to redeem all lost souls"

I thought the game tried to work in Biblical context, not completely contradict it.

I thought the game tried to work in Biblical context, not completely contradict it.

Yeah, that would seem a bit overpowered not to mention, not all of the lost will receive Jesus. There are some unbelievers that won't believe in him or accept Him, so there needs to be something in the game that can represent that.
