Plagues

The cards I've loved and always wanted to be remade ever since I started playing was the 10 plagues of Egypt. So here's some ideas I've had. Instead of coming up with some new game mechanic, I just tried using the existing ones interestingly, since I think the game is complicated enough as is.

Plague of Blood
Gold/Green
0/0
Territory Class
Special Ability: If used by an Exodus hero, place in an opponent’s territory: While that player has no magicians in play, when that player draws a card by a special ability used by that player, instead reveal it. Discard the evil cards and underdeck the good cards.
Identifiers: Plague, Limit 1 per territory
The idea here is since the Nile was essentially the source of life to Egypt, it would make sense to cut off the supply of cards to a player. It functions much like RBD, only it only discards the evil cards. It also leaves neutral cards on top of deck, so it doesn't hurt soul gen. This plague was recreated by the Egyptian magicians, so it only works if they have no magicians

Plague of Frogs
Gold/Green
0/0
Special Ability: If used by an Exodus hero and no magician is in play, regardless of protection, shuffle all evil characters in play.
Identifiers: Plague
Basically a better version of the old Plague of Flies, but restricted to Exodus and again, only if there is no magician.

Plague of Gnats
Gold/Green
3/3
Special Ability: Restrict opponent from playing enhancements this battle.
Identifiers: Plague
The gnats didn't kill or seriously hurt (at least I would guess so) anyone. They would just be super annoying and make it frustrating to do anything. So not playing enhancements seemed fitting.

Plague of Flies
Gold/Green
6/6
Special Ability: Decrease an opponent’s evil characters by 6/6.
Identifiers: Plague
Again, a better version of the old one

Plague on Livestock
Gold/Green
2/0
Territory Class
Special Ability: Remove all animals from the game. Place in an opponent’s territory: When that player uses a search ability, you may shuffle a card in that territory.
Identifiers: Plague, Limit 1 per territory
Similarly to Plague of Blood, the livestock were a source of food and work, so instead of draw, it hurts searching.

Plague of Boils
Gold/Green
0/0
Territory Class
Special Ability: If used by an Exodus hero, place in an opponent’s territory: All evil characters in that territory are diseased and decrease 2/2 per turn.
Identifiers: Plague, Limit 1 per territory
Again, a better version of the old one

Plague of Hail
Gold/Green
2/2
Special Ability: Negate and discard an evil or neutral card in play.
Identifiers: Plague
Again, a better version of the old one

Plague of Locusts
Gold/Green
2/2
Territory Class
Negate and discard all evil enhancements in play and remove an opponent’s discard pile from the game.
Identifiers: Plague

Plague of Darkness
Gold/Green
0/0
Territory Class
Special Ability: If used by an Exodus hero, place in your territory: Turn all characters in your territory face down. When you place a character from hand in territory, play it face down. At any time, you may look at a face down card in your territory.
Identifiers: Plague, Limit 1 per territory
Love the idea of your opponent not knowing what you have in your territory. I'm not sure if it is overpowered, since it essentially protects all of your characters in territory from everything.

Death of the Firstborn
Gold/Green/Silver
4/0
Special Ability: Negate evil protection. If used by an Exodus hero, discard a male human evil character from each evil brigade in play.
Identifiers: Plague
Pretty self explanatory. Negate protection, instead of regardless, since that's what the old one did. And it's not quite as powerful.

Moses’ Rod
Artifact
Special Ability: Plagues with an Exodus reference cannot be negated.
Identifiers: May be activated on Moses
Also not sure if it's over powered. CBN regardless of protection shuffle all ECs on Moses...

Let me know what you think

I definitely would like if some of these weren't restricted to Exodus heroes, but I think that might make them too powerful. I kept them all as Green/Gold, since Aaron and Moses both went to Pharaoh. Death of the firstborn could also be silver, which would also limit it to one in T2.

i really like these, i could see them going great in judges/prophets and play well in t2

the "negate and discard an evil or neutral card" is really awesome atm and i almost feel like some of these could be cbp since the Ezekiel one's are

Old Moses' Rod would make them CPB, or my Moses' Staff would make them CBN

I would say to cut some wording on Plague of Blood. also, how would a face down evil character be played? flip it over in battle?

I want to keep the restriction on magicians for the plagues that they could recreate. I could possible rework the ability to be shorter.

By default, when characters enter battle they are turned face up.

If used by an Exodus Hero, place in a territory: Reveal all cards that player draws because of his special abilities instead, unless he has a magician. Discard evil and underdeck good revealed cards.

I think that's as short as you can get it without changing it (slightly changed in that you could play it in your own territory, but for all real purposes it's the same ability).
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Boils, gnats and frogs are a bit much, especially gnats. I still like them, they're just too good. Other than that quibble, I like them, especially plague of darkness! Maybe Livestock could be a bit spicier, as any time I'm using a search, with few exceptions it'd be a minor annoyance at worst to have to have something from territory shuffled. Maybe allow it to shuffle from battle, too.
