Philosophy (reprint)

In honor of Lambo's release of the Card Builder v2.0 I decided to make a reprint of Philosophy with a special ability (and some other changes) since the new builder makes it so easy.

I tried to keep the OT and NT theme going as well as the good and evil aspect, and I changed the card to be a Covenant/Curse because thematically your philosophy or belief system is the covenant/promise you make to follow what you think is true.

The special ability extends that. A lot of times people aren't open to other people's differing philosophies (negating enhancements is sort of like ignoring the arguments they are making) but occasionally you'll be able to use your philosophy to bring someone else to your side of things, or on the flip side sometimes people forsake their own philosophy to join someone else's (discarding the card to convert symbolizes this).

I'm not a fan of the card (a lot going on, and I don't like evil convert in general), but I figured I'd point to a few things that this would NEED if it were to ever be possible ;)

First, it cannot convert someone in battle.  A CBN battle winner as an artifact, especially one with this much power, should not happen (especially as an evil battle winner).  Even if this part remains, you'll need a Holy Grail style condition about not working on those in battle.

Second, this has multiple powerful abilities.  Negating enhancements is ridiculously strong itself, and then to allow the convert is probably over the top.  Maybe just limit it to the first part?

Third, and this is just clerical, you don't actually have to specify that it is both testaments, so long as the verses are both on there.  Use Scroll of Isaiah as precedent there, so hopefully that helps.

I would just suggest this negate enhancements and keep everything else, personally.

While your character is in battle, negate Enhancements. If played as an enhancement, convert a human to a brigade and alignment of your choice. Cannot be prevented.

Card has been updated. I took Lambo's suggestion as that limits the convert aspect of it to be less powerful. I also removed the identifier which had been there just as a clarification.

Unfortunately I don't have access to a high quality copy of the original artwork so I just did a quick Google search for something. If you have a better image please feel free to share it. :)

In all fairness you said "Original Artwork" which I also did a double-take on since I initially read it as you giving your own artwork (wasn't really reading posts beyond a quick glance).  I know what you meant, but there's no need to get all bold and red just because someone misunderstood ;)
