Title: Pauls Departure
Post by: hi123 on August 16, 2010, 09:37:02 AM
I will get a scripture reference today. I dont remember where it was!

So, I get the idea that this should be a good card. Paul was very happy when he was about to get executed. He knew he was going to go to heaven.

Purple/Blue good Enhancement.

Number's 5/5

SA: Discard two demons, or convert two human evil charactars to the brigade of opponents choice.

Class: None ( if this was a territory class, it would be tgt staple!)

I would say the way you've made it is still a Garden Tomb and speed "staple".  Remove the "interrupt the battle" part and it might not be so overpowered, although ET could still do this before opponent has a chance to do anything.

Paul speaks about his impending death near the end of 2 Timothy, but I'm still not sure how the special ability "fits" with that event.

Ya, I wasnt sure on the SA!  But, he did convert alot of people in his life. And,I am going to change the SA with it being not an interupt!

You may want to change the title too, to something like "The hour of my departure", "crown of life", or something that sounds "good".  Paul's execution just sounds like it would be an evil enhancement that would remove a "disciple" from the game.  Also understand that this could still be seriously abused in Speed/TGT when played by ET before a blocker is presented.

I will change the title, but, how does this help speed?

With the famous Claudia to ET to play a bunch of enhancements band.  They can end it now with another battle winner besides AOCP, and get rid of your ECs in territory.  And if they also use Garden Tomb then it makes waltzing in later with one of those heroes even easier.

I don't think this is really OP or particularly suited to TGT. It's a fairly underwhelming card as a whole.

Ok, and the reason for the brigade color's =

I made the brigades Blue/purple because they dont have enough battle winners!
