It requires you to play a specific defense, for an ability that is easily achievable through the use of the more powerful Covenant of Palestine.  This card would never see play.

I wouldn't have the Egyptian requirement, instead I would say have it be a benefit for the player of the card.  For instance under deck all Egyptians in battle.

Good point. I will fix.  I also, wasn't sure if I should make it gold or blue.  The more I think about it I may change it to blue brigade for Genesis characters.

But...why, since parting the waters happened in Exodus with Moses (under the watch of the Judges instead of the Patriarchs)?

For the use in a Genegyptian deck that doesn't run Palestine or if Joe, Ben, and Judah are capped.

If Joe Ben and Judah are all captured, the genesis player probably did something wrong.  Regardless we already have two more powerful anti-capture artifacts one of which does the same things as this card and has unlimited uses.  I just can't see anyone ever actually running this card.

Well, I play Genegyptian, and I had all three capped during a multiplayer game vs. Women of Snares.  It pretty much killed me. I didn't have Palestine or Tassels.

The problem seems to have been that you weren't running the anti-capture cards that exist, not that there isn't enough anti-capture already.

Also how did they get capture vs women as snares?  Women as snares only capture ECs

Sorry...my bad Drrek.  I was thinking a different situation.  My three Gens were capped by CBN Head of Gold off Nerg + Swift Horses (2 babs already in play). That's how they were captured.  I know I prolly should have ran the anti-cap cards...but I was a new player at the time and didn't know any better...;)

Cov of Palestine has already been mentioned, but Gold already has this card:

This is true but like I said early if you redid the ability and leave it territory class it could be a used and it would stop you from having to use an art slot for CoP.

Gold territory class
Return all captured hero's to owners territories. Under deck all Egyptians in battle. (I know under deck is a little ironic)

This would be a more interesting dual use card.
