Good evening everyone,
So this painting by Samuel Colman inspired my idea for a “Parting of the Red Sea” card:

I think it would make a great good Dominant card. I don’t have a clear idea of the special ability but perhaps someone will have a spark of inspiration bellow. A thematic example for an ability freeing captured characters and having them start a rescue attempt. Or you could make it a Meekify (make everything meek) both territories for an entire round.

Interrupt the battle and set aside all blocking characters until end of the current turn. Blocking player may present a new evil character.

A simple battle winner Dom. Shows the way God intervened for the Israelites as they fled Pharoah’s army by putting distance or obstacle between them and their pursuers by parting the Red Sea for them to get to the other side. The power level would be at the top of the spectrum so it could have unity for rescuing heroes to be meek, also thematically comparing the heroes in the rescue attempt to the helpless Israelites that would’ve surely perished if not for God providing a way.

This does sound powerful! Almost like the taunt on Goliath. Unity could be with all GC sharing a book or testament. If you really wanted to restrict it, you can make it Unity: Exodus Characters.
If it was restrictive with a Unity: Meek Exodus Characters, do you think you could drop the last sentence? That would make it one of the strongest dominants but force players to build around it.
Unity with Exodus characters for the special ability you mentioned above sounds right to me. You could add a sentence on the stating "At the end of battle, banish all characters who blocked except in set-aside." to make it even more thematic.

I don’t know if you can ever remove the last line, or some way that the opponent may have a shot to work through the ability. Otherwise, you slap the card down and it’s a free soul. I don’t think any theme deserves a free soul card from their niche dominant, even if there is strict unity requirements. I do like the exodus unity requirement. But, I just don’t know if you can make the card without including the last line or something similar so it’s more of a “most of the time” battle winner versus an iron clad “all the time” battle winner.
