Palm Branches

Good Dominant

Reveal top 5 cards for every 50 cards of a total deck. If this cards holder's Son of God is one, take Son of God into hand. Put lost souls into play. Underdeck the rest.

They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Blessed is the king of Israel!"
John 12:13

I love Fishers of Men, Gideon's Call and Samaritan Water Jar. I thought this card would be nice for T1 and T2 since there is a big difference between them. This would be a good way to generate lost souls off an opponent's deck without having to shuffle or being prevented by Nazareth or Covenant with Death. Or another good way to get closer to Son of God after it has been underdecked or you have been waiting all game to get to it (can't tell you how many times Son of God has been drawn in the very last 3 cards of a deck!!)

Hope this is in the right place. Got a lot more card ideas and this is just one to start!

That's not a bad idea.

I like it very much...would prefer it be an Artifact and have a condition to its activation like "If a Jerusalem Hero is in play reveal top X cards. Place revealed lost souls into play. If Son of God is revealed, place in hand and then discard this artifact. Underdeck the rest of the revealed cards." <X=5 cards per 50 cards in deck>

The idea is that they would keep waving the Palm Branches until the Son of God showed up. It would require a Jerusalem hero to be in play since the Palm Branches were present at his entry into Jerusalem.

Wouldn't it fit better with the Luke and John theme, rather than the Early Church ones? Alternatively you could use the Jerusalem site or just a NT Hero.

From a strategic point of view it doesn't really add much to the Luke/John theme (although it still wouldn't be a bad addition because it's ability is so general).

I would almost want it to be something like:

Reveal the top X cards from all decks. If this cards holder's Son of God is one, take Son of God into hand. Put lost souls into play. Underdeck the rest.
X= Number of your NT heroes.

Another interesting idea, at least for the Luke and John theme could be discarding an evil card or something like that, maybe it could say something like:
Reveal the top X cards from all decks. Either take your revealed Son of God to your hand or discard a revealed evil card. Put lost souls into play. Underdeck the rest. (if I'm using "your" incorrectly it can be replaced with this card's holder's)
X=Number of your Luke or John heroes

But I also do like the idea behind the card.
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.

As a dominant its underpowered and as an artifact its overpowered. If its and artifact I would limit to two uses other wise its ridiculous with demons.

How would it be overpowered with demons other than their ability to work with the bottom of the deck...or is that what you are referring to?

Mayhem and Grapes of Wrath are a ton of fun. The Holy Spirit and the Fruits of the Spirit are incredible!! I really love the way these cards play. Super excited to see the emergence of their strategies. Blinding light is super fun. So glad Saul/Paul is becoming popular! I figured this one could help T2 OT players well. I really like OT red/gray. Just sometimes feel like without judges OT red is pretty slow.

Thanks again Travis for revitalizing Three Lions!! The page is great and I couldn't be happier with all of the cards I've ordered from you!! Thank you!!

Instead of limit twice per game, how about: Opponent may discard two cards from hand to discard this card.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and all your strength.
