Title: Of One Mind
Post by: Minister Polarius on August 12, 2009, 04:13:08 AM
Of One Mind (Reprint)
Good Dominant
"If there is a single-color N.T. Hero of every Good Brigade in your territory, place this card in your territory. While it remains, your Heroes are Protected from Evil cards."

Paul + this = win

Even if it required a single-brigade NT Hero of every good brigade, it would still be a little too strong, I'd think - nearly permanent Protection of Angels!

Change it to good cards in your territory, and change it to one hero of each brigade (no N.T.) and you've got yourself a deal. Combined with the Punisher LS, this turns into a really balanced strategy.

Paul would count as a Hero of any Brigade of your choice, but you would still need 7 others.

I think it's balanced because you have to build a whole deck around it. First of all, you'd be required to have Priests of Christ or Zecherias (or Convert your own EC), just the heroes eat up 8 slots on offense all in different Brigades, and if this card is sniped or you become unable to obtain all 8 Brigades at once basically your whole strategy is useless. It's a high-risk, high-reward card; that's something somewhat lacking in Redemption (ANB is probably as close as it gets).

Disagree. Paul is all 8 brigades at one time, not 1 brigade of your choice.

+1

All multi cards count as all good/evil brigades at the same time.

Rather than argue about card interpretation, I just edited it.

I really like this card a lot, the balance is definitely there. This card plus TGT would be amazing :D

I like this card too, but it once you get one of each, it is almost impossible to end it.  So, a deck of all heroes and this card would be almost unstoppable.  There needs to be a discard clause IMO.

Babylonians and Greeks could deal with this card easily enough. Pale Green could as well, if they knew to look for it.

A well placed ANB could make someone running this headdesk as well.

But, barring those, it is a bit powerful.

Unholy writ and Magic charms could stop this aswell, Artifacts are considered neutral so they would still work.
