This is true. Altar of Dagon + Cyrus = TGT is done. Your opponent would need Grapes, AotL, Plague of Frogs on Joanna, or be able to discard him in territory. Else, gg mate.

Yet, it does require at least two, and probably 3+ cards to pull it off effectively, so it's not an OP'd counter. And even if you don't pull it off, Throne of David becomes that much better.

One question, why is CBI and CBC in the identifiers?

Great job, btw.

CBIgnored in identifier means the ability is always active, even without placing him in battle. Basically, it stops him from being ignored pre-block.

The CBC in identifier ensures that you can't re-convert Cyrus. Since it's on a Hero and there are like 2 good Evil converts, it will almost never matter.

The first Enhancement played this battle Cannot be Interrupted unless opponent Discards a Warrior-Class Evil Character from his territory.

Ok problem it should say the first good Enhancement otherwise the 11/11 hero is toast. If it did not say that he is way UP'd and you would have to use Altar of Dagon so he doesn't become a hero who says the first Enhancement CBI...

Throne of David says hi. It's a balancing tool, making Cyrus a high-risk, high-rewards Hero.

I really like the cards.  Except maybe the fact that Cyrus can't block when prophets are around (which is fairly often).  I assume his ability would check for prophets only when he enters battle (I don't know much about ongoing v. activates once)?

Yeah, I can't think of any Brown EC that could bring him into battle whose ability Cannot be Negated in order to get him converted and then has numbers low enough to not be negated. Especially not female ones from Thesaurus that I would say 80-90% of competitive players use in at least one deck... ::)
And yes, the ability would only check for Prophets when it activates.

I don't understand his evil side...much less why he has an evil side. I think his good side and the enhancement are awesome though.

What makes him evil? Why do you suggest he is immune to NT?

He started out as a Pagan King. His meritorious deeds later on are why he becomes good.

...Well many characters should then start off as evil characters. The woman at the well is a perfect example of a character who could have been an evil/good character. I think Saul/Paul was created as such because of the damage Saul did. Cyrus, to my knowledge, never hindered the Israelites in anyway. In fact, he forced the end of the Babylonian exile down their throats. He made them leave Babylon...if it wasn't for him Israel would possibly have never been reestablished.

I think Cyrus is the equivalent to a King David or Paul. He has one of the most profound effects in the histories Judaism and Christianity. What evil did he commit to warrant him being an evil character?
