I like the idea, but I don't think anyone would want to draw enough to allow their opponent initiative every time.

I would. But, see how it's worded? All the "Play first" gets to go first.
Anyway, there has to be a cost. I think this one is fair to basically get a free draw every single turn.

i like the card.... but how about it says the same thing it does but instead put this in first "if mary magdalen, mary the mother of james, salome, peter,or john," then bla bla bla bla bla. so pretty much its another garden tomb fort.
No, it does something different  ???

See all of you think it's underpowered that means it's a great and balanced card

sweet! i know that speed deck people would use it with et :P my friend has a strategy where he can band a bunch of people together like i think it's blue seraphim to tribal elder to jacob to cherubim then he can put on et, so that would give him initiative, also there is a blue weapon, helmet of brass i think, that says when blocker is presented, you gain initiative, so  i wonder if this card would interupt that effect....

No, it says all those kinds of abilities resolve, then EC gains initiative

or, in an amazing flash of brilliance, how about we keep it as metalpsalm wrote it?

btw, I like it.  This would go great in my Priest Speed Deck as teal has so many ITB cards... =D

so you want to make it Garden Tomb that can draw a card every time they rescue?

I like this card. Preblock ignore FTW!
