Yeah, this card is definitely needed.  Fortresses are running a muck.

I thought of this this morning at church. "Plowed and Sown" is referring to Emperor Titus planting corn where the Temple was.... except now I can't find any reference to that! Did I dream it? Still, it works with the reference to Samaria, I guess

THIS LOOKS AWESOME! unfortunately it doesn't confirm if we are getting a new expansion pack, or boosters, but it rules out the tins, as everyone would buy a bunch of the tin this card is in...... unfortunately, i think that good dominants are loosing out now....

I'm too lazy to look up the context of the verse, but from what I see, it seems like this should be a good dominant. :-\ I'm not sure what restrictions should be put on it, but I'm still concerned (although not really, since I don't think this will be a real card) that this could make AoCP all-powerful by being able to dispose of any protection fortresses. Maybe You should have an ability like "Opponent may discard top three cards from deck instead" or something like that that gives the opponent a second option.

Metal, If you link me the image you used, and I can make it look closer to a real card for you.  :)

As far as the ability goes... mabye just discard one Good Fortress in territory? Evil forts are already easy enough to stop.

Like I said, when I thought it up I was thinking of the 70 AD Temple destruction

Look at the Card Templates sticky thread. Gives you all sorts of font info and more.

Here's a link to download the Lucian BT font (http://911fonts.com/fonts/6/0/3/6037.ttf) if you're interested. (Came from www.911fonts.com (http://www.911fonts.com))

adamfincher, just FYI, the cards in the New Card Ideas section are created by players and are not actual printed cards from Cactus. There are some great technowizards who can make the cards look real online.

Feel free to post some ideas of your own, because I have heard that ideas posted on these boards sometimes become the inspiration for later real cards.
