Artifact (no name or verse yet)
"Discard to reveal 7.  Put lost souls in play and set the rest aside.  At any time during a future turn, you may underdeck your hand to add those set-aside cards to hand."

I see it as a less-OP Mayhem.  You see the benefit immediately, but can't take it until a future turn.  Also risky; if you land 3 LS or so on the reveal, you've dug your defense a big hole (plus you get fewer cards in hand).  But you can do it at any time, which includes during battles; if you need a card in the set-aside to win the battle, for example.

Version 2:
Artifact (no name or verse yet)
"Discard to reveal 7.  Put lost souls in play and set the rest aside.  At any time during a future turn, you may underdeck a card from hand to add one of those cards to hand."

I think there should be a limit on the hand size you can underdeck to get the set aside cards (maybe 3?), otherwise it's just a drawing card that grants you a way out of RBD and extra cards for a potentially low cost.
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

I agree with this point but I like the idea of this card anyways.
You could make it like a set aside card though where u may under deck one for one at any time.

So under deck 3 take 3 from set aside or 7for 7 or 1for1 ect.

My train of thought was very similar when I created this card.  I compared it to Mayhem, and this is what I came up with:

1.  This card lets you draw at most 7 cards.  Mayhem lets you draw exactly 6.  However, for every card less than 7 that this card draws, it puts a LS in play.  Mayhem draws until you have 6 non-LS cards.  Hard to say which is better.  I'd take Mayhem, personally, because of the consistency...  If this card hits 2 or more LS, I'd be very disappointed.

2.  Mayhem can also reduce your opponent's hand, and can be played right after their draw.  This card does not affect your opponent, or make them draw cards (to potentially put LS in play).  Advantage Mayhem, big time.  This reason is the reason Mayhem is broken.

3.  Mayhem gets you your card advantage immediately.  This card waits at least one turn.  Advantage Mayhem.

Maybe it's powerful, but it avoids 2. above, which is Mayhem's biggest drawback, IMHO.  Maybe change it to "Reveal 6" instead of 7?  Or maybe even 5?

You could make it like a set aside card though where u may under deck one for one at any time.

So under deck 3 take 3 from set aside or 7for 7 or 1for1 ect.

I really like this idea.  If this was how it worked, I'd be inclined to possibly make the Reveal bigger, since you could never gain card advantage.  It would be interesting strategically...  You'd be able to customize your hand, but at the cost of your opponent knowing what you have.  Plus, you have to fill the art slot with this card and discard it.

I think I will update the wording to reflect this type of ability.

This sounds like you can only do one card at a time.  Had you wanted to make is so that you could exchange 1-for-1 up to 7?  Maybe make it:

Version 2:
Artifact (no name or verse yet)
"Discard to reveal 7.  Put lost souls in play and set the rest aside.  At any time during a future turn, you may underdeck X cards from hand to add X of those cards to hand.  Clarifier: X = # holder chooses up to # set aside" or something like that.

Also, just a thought, but this almost sounds like a different version of 7 years of plenty from the story when they set aside food for 7 years to have during the 7 years of famine.  I know that they already have both 7 years of plenty and Storehouse cards, but maybe some other name to do with that story?  Also, I feel like it might be confusing for this card to be discarded and still have an effect in play.  I feel like this artifact should be active for as long as the cards are set aside, and if it's discarded, the rest of the cards set aside should be discarded as well.  It might help balance it a little more, just a thought.

Anyways, this is my first foray into the forums, so I don't know if this helps or not.  Friend introduced me to the game this past year and now I'm hooked.  Been having fun reading the forums and thought I'd finally start writing in it.

Because the card says "At any time...", you can do 1 for 1 as many times as you want, including at the same time.  So you could do 3 for 3 if you wanted - you are just doing 1 for 1, 3 times.
