Not sure if there is a card out there like this but I think it would be a fun concept:
Name: Unexpected Alliance
Ability: Hero in battle may band to any evil character not in the field of battle. If making a rescue attempt, no lost soul may be rescued. This and following enhancements played by your hero and the banded evil character may not be negated this battle.
-
What happens when you end up putting down cards that hurt your hero, e.g., you play a card that says "decrease all heroes in play by 2/2" or even a "discard all heroes in battle"?
-
I like this card a lot. It gives loads of possibilities.

Then the hero is hurt. Caught in the cross fire, unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure they've said they'll never allow ECs and Heroes to be on the same side of a battle together.
It would be fun to see what could happen with this card though.

Brigade? Numbers? Card type?(I figure it's a GE but whatever)

Broken Combos.
Which is EXACTLY why Lambo likes it.

I really like this idea but it brakes the game rule for evil/good banding. How about it converts an evil character for one turn and adds it to battle?

Problem is then you can't use your evil enhancements. I know that the rule is there but I think the fundamental rule is that evil characters can't rescue Lost Souls. Therefore, you are sticking to the fundamental rule by not allowing a lost soul to be rescued.

Here's an alternate take on the card:
Type: Hero Enh.
Brigade: Red
Special Ability: Holder may initiate a second battle as a battle challenge with an evil character from holder's territory. Opponent must accept the battle challenge with an evil character. If opponent does not accept the challenge, all evil characters in intial battle return to owner's territory. Initial battle resumes after challenge. Cannot be negated.

OPed in my opinion. It's too easy to just get through, especially if your opponent is having a EC drought anyway (which might be why s/he only has 2 ECs). Anyway, that's not the point of the card. It's called Unexpected Alliance - maybe the original idea is the best for that title. Of course, you could make it so you band any opponent's hero into battle as well.
-
Perhaps "search opponent's deck for a hero and add it to battle" Still unexpected, has counters (so not OP) and doesn't break (or brake) rules.
-
If they don't have an evil character to present you win the original battle
