Nativity Heroes

Mary - 6/6 White (Nativity)
“Mary may band to Elizabeth and/or Joseph the Carpenter to search deck for a New Testament Artifact.  Cannot be Negated if the Stable is in Play”

Joseph – 7/5 White (Nativity)
“If Banded to Mary, may search deck or Discard pile for a nativity Hero and place in play.”

Shepherds - 3/3 White (Nativity, Generic - Three variants)
“May band to Shepherds.  Cannot be Prevented”

Gabriel - 10/10 Silver (Nativity)
“May search an opponents’ deck for one evil card and discard it, or may shuffle a nativity enhancement from discard pile back into deck.  Cannot be prevented if Mary is in play”

The Magi - 3/3 Purple/White (Nativity)
“You may discard an evil card in your territory to shuffle a nativity enhancement from discard pile back into deck.  The Magi ignore all Herods.”

Simeon 8/6 White/ Green Brigade Hero (Nativity, Prophet)
May band to any Prophet.  Cannot be Negated if Herod’s Temple (fortress) is in Play

Anna - 4/4 White/ Green (Nativity, Prophetess)
“May Band to Mary and/or Joseph the Carpenter to search top x cards of your deck.  You may take one and place the rest beneath deck.  If you do, discard Anna after battle”
X = number of Nativity heroes in play

Elizabeth 4/4 White (Nativity)
“Hero is protected from capture.  If John the Baptist is in play, good convert abilities cannot be prevented”

Zacharias 3/4 White/Teal (Nativity, Herods Temple High Priest)
“If Gabriel is in play search deck for John the Baptist.  While this card is in play, protect all lost souls from rescue by New Jerusalem. Cannot be negated”

Evil Characters

Innkeeper 4/3 Black Evil Character
“Evil character may not use New Testament enhancements.  Old Testament Enhancements that are used by this Evil Character cannot be prevented”

Herod  8/9 Black/Gold (King of Judea, Herod, Idumean)
“Negate all good banding.  Once per game, Holder may choose the rescuer that opponent uses in battle.  May band to a Roman Evil Character (not an Emperor)”

Archelaus 7/3 Gold (Herod)
“Character has first strike.  Once per game, Archelaus may choose the rescuer.  Cannot be negated if another Herod is in play”

Herodians 3/3 Gold (Herod Generic, 4 Variants)
“Negate all special abilities on characters and enhancements except banding.  May band to Herodians.  Evil banding abilities cannot be Negated

Herodian 4/4 Gold (Herod, Unique)
May band to any Herod.  May discard an evil card in your territory to force a human hero to withdraw from battle.  Opponent may discard an enhancement of same brigade to negate this.  Cannot Be Prevented

Quirinius 9/5 Black/ Gray (Syrian/Roman/Governor)
“All New Testament heroes in play must return to territory and be counted.  If there is an odd number flip Heroes over and shuffle, holder may randomly discard one hero.  If original hero is discarded, the rescue attempt fails”
Herod’s Soldiers 4/4 Gold (generic, 3 variants)
“May band to Herod’s Soldiers.  If Herod is in play, holder may discard a site in play. Cannot be interrupted”

Pontius Pilate 9/9 Gray (Roman/Governor)
 “Discard a Herod to discard a human Hero in battle.  Opponent may discard one of his heroes in territory to negate this.”

The Manger –
“Nativity heroes are immune to demons.  If one blocks you may play an enhancement.”

The Star –
“Following Rescue attempt set aside x cards in your territory for x turns to shuffle x Nativity heroes from discard pile back into draw pile”
X= a number of holders choosing


Sites

Nazareth (Gold Brigade Site)
If this site is occupied, Choose the Rescuer abilities are negated

Bethlehem (White Brigade Site)
If opponent makes a rescue attempt at this site, you may reveal opponents hand and take one NT enhancement you find there and add it to your hand.

Jerusalem (Purple Brigade Site)
“You may place an Evil Character from hand or territory facedown on this site.  At any time you may reveal this Evil Character.  Opponent may add this character to battle, otherwise return it facedown.

Egypt (Gold/Green brigade site)
“While this site is occupied, Egyptians cannot be ignored.  Mary and Joseph have access to this site”

Hebron (Blue Brigade site)
“While this site is occupied, Herod’s cannot be ignored”

Fortresses

Herod’s Temple - (Multicolor Good Fort)
“Herod’s Temple Priests are protected from Capture and Discard. This Temple is protected from Discard except by Romans”

The Stable – (Multicolor Good Fortress)
“This card is protected from discard abilities.  Nativity heroes cannot be ignored.  Protect all cards from evil dominants.  Protect all Lost souls from rescue by the New Jerusalem Dominant.”

Herod’s Palace – (Multicolor Evil Fortress)
“Protect all Herod’s in territory from discard and conversion.  Herods ignore all NT Heroes.  Opponent may discard a card from hand to negate this and you may draw a card.”

exactly.  I still need to work on some enhancements but one of hte minor themes of the nativity group will be the limiting of all doms except SoG.

Edited the manger.  but as for the simeon problem.  I flirted with being able to put a nativity artifact in the stable for an extra artifact slot.  If I do that, then there mght be more of a problem but currently there is no way to have HT and The Manger active at the same time...sooo no 2 free enhancements for simeon.  sorry.

Edited several of the cards given some of the comments I have had.  Have not had time to work on enhancements yet.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

I like it except 6 turns is too long and what is x?

What about set aside for x turns and discard x herods ( x is number of holders choosing)

The evil looks ok. We could always use some NT evil characters. The offence looks OK. :thumbup: Next time maybe make some OT Heros because I'm starting to get tired of NT.

yeah...you should make a TGT except for Moses, Hur, Aaron, and all heroes of any player with ANB in their hand, deck, discard, set-aside, removed or anywhere else on the table.
