Hey, I've only created one dream card thus far, but I plan on doing more in the future.
Here's my first one -- Faith, Hope, and Love:

I think I would also try to fit in something about healing. I really like it. :)
-
Good cards need offense, rather than defense. I would recommend changing the numbers to either 3/3 or 3/0. I would also add in "Cannot be Negated by a good card" so you can band in "fight by the numbers" characters, or perhaps "Cannot be Negated if used by a NT hero."
-
Thanks for the suggestions, guys! If I can find time for editing, I'll try and worl on it.
Here's another one -- Trumpets and Cornets:

I want to say that's too strong, but then I remember Heavy Taxes exists.
-
birgade:multi. numbers:1/1 ability: heal all heros in battle from being removedor discarded from the game. negate and discard all poisons and deases in play. cannot be negated.
You can't heal from removal. Otherwise, this is almost identical to Brass Serpent.
-
No. You can protect from remove, not heal it cuz it is no longer in play.
-
REG: "Healing abilities cure characters that have been poisoned, infected or are in the process of being discarded." You would have to redefine healing in order for removal from the game to be healable. (In other words, what Josh said.)
-
I'm working on a Phoebe card, but I can't seem to find a good picture... Any suggestions?

Check out GoodSalt.com for some good Bible-related images.

Just wondering, what program do you use to make cards? Gimp, Paint, or Photoshop?
-
TimMierz -- Thanks for the info!
Lamborghini_diablo -- I use paint.

The Thomistic theological virtues. Nice.
I wonder if the Aristotelian cardinal virtues (prudence, temperance, justice, fortitude) would be possible to make as well.
-
It does mattter what program you use; paint is really primitive compared to photoshop (or GIMP).
-
If you don't care about how it looks, then sure.

Yeah, but somehow Selrah made it look amazing with paint, eh? :o
-
Musicain, as much as you want paint to equal a program that costs 50+ bucks, It never will. I've used paint for my cards, Lambo with his haxor non paintness always makes my cards look better :-p

Try $100+... the whole CS4 suite is several grand. :o
But Musician, I challenge you to make something that looks better than a photoshopped image. I'll tell you the BIGGEST difference, aside from all the features photoshop has that paint doesnt...
Paint just lets you apply a SOLID color with no anti-aliasing around it. This makes it look EXTREMELY pixelated. When you paint in photoshop, it smooths the edges, so it doesnt look as ugly.
I can provide photo evidence if you want to continue arguing. ;)
-
no it doesnt you can usewhat you want :P
If anyone had actually ever used photoshop, they would know how much better it was.
-
Now Musicain (im still gonna call you that, since you had that name for the longest)
Tell me there isnt a difference.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.
-
Not at all; photoshop keeps each visual item in its own layer so that you can move things around and edit them separately, for starters.
-
Paint is super straight forward and easy to use, but weak.
Photoshop can do so much that it becomes a bit daunting to try it at first. Once you learn how to use it though, Photoshop can do things so much quicker and easier than paint, and look better too.
I will admit though, Selrahc seems to be on the level I was with paint... good job removing the white borders around the icons at the top.
-
Well, okay... :miss: So, how about another card!

I know, the picture doesn't necessarily fit with the usual Redemption theme, but I thought that it was cool. ;D
