There should be some sort of a cost for an ability that completely makes site-stealing useless. I like the idea of the ability, but as said, it needs a balance of SOME sort.

Each time hero attempts a rescue (at the beginning of rescue) decrease abilities 0/1. If Son of God is played before hero reaches */0, Hero returns to face value and gains the ability to use healing and conversion cards regardless of brigade.

I am not sure what you mean with the mark 9:21 passage here is the quote from King James Mark 9: 25

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

This has no bearing on any of the topics mentioned in this thread.

If you are advocating the KJV of scriptures as the only true source of scripture then I would argue with you about that but not in this thread. If you are saying I didn't use the KJV in my references, then I will argue with you about that here, I only use KJV for my card references on this board in keeping with the tradition of Redemption.
