Brian Reid was a good friend to me and many others in the Redemption community. He was a youth pastor in WV and later in Indianapolis. At both places he build up a Redemption playgroup that would travel to many tournaments. In fact, he was very helpful to me when I was first starting to hold tournaments and build my playgroup here at Oakdale.
He was an extremely generous trader with many of my students, which I always appreciated. It helped them to get many cards that they would not have been able to get otherwise. He also was generous with his strategy tips and deck ideas, which was also very helpful due to the fact that he was a talented player and had much more experience than we did.
Unfortunately, he and his wife died in a car wreck last year, and they will be greatly missed.
P.S. If a card were to be made in his honor, I think the special ability should be something that shows generosity (ie. giving a new special ability to another character, or giving the holder more cards, or something like that).
