I love all these cards, especially Zadok! I've felt like he's needed a reprint for some time. i think that gods of egypt is too powerful though. maybe make it a generic demon, and change the special ability to "...discard a generic demon or your evil or neutral card depicting an idol from hand or territory." that would still make it pretty powerful, but i think that might nerf it a bit. great ideas, i really like them!

I like the concept of the gods of egypt but it would not be made as an evil character because as far as redemption is concerned false gods are not real.

I was thinking that as well. Maybe make them a Curse or Enhancement.

Why? they are demons. i know we have demon behind the idol, but why can we have false gods as demons? there is god of this world who is a demon.

i would lean towards that usually it's depicting the idol itself, but idk...

I thought they were going to make an EC when they did the reprint? When did this change?

If that's the case, it would have to be a Gold/Orange Enhancement.

I think a card like Zadok would go a long way to make a teal deck (or pure red) really good again. I like him too. 8)

For the gods, I was thinking the cost was fairly high as is. Discard an evil card from hand and the top card could prove costly to save one character if you hit a crucial card. Plus, Moses stops this without even attacking. However, maybe it could be this:

0/0 Gold/Orange EE
T.C.
ID= Limit one per territory
"Place in territory: Protect your evil Egyptians from convert and discard abilities. During battle, you may banish this card to negate and discard an Enhancement or band an evil Egyptian into battle."

You don't know they are demons lol that's not biblical at all. There could be evil forces behind them but people made up the names. Take a guess who the god of this world is lol Thematically i feel like they should be printed as demons but ive posted card ideas like this before and the general consensus from the ptb is that Rob feels its more accurate to just let them be idols because the  gods not real.

What does "banish" mean?

I feel like Egyptian idols is a little bit too powerful. You basically will get to discard a card from their deck every turn,  and potentially have a second artifact activated.

I really like the lost soul.

Lol. Banish is the new Yugioh term for Remove from play.

It hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but there has been talk of replacing the phrase "remove from the game" with "banish" to keep abilities shorter.

I could see the Idols losing their activation on Egypt or Pharaoh's Throne Room. As for the strength, I don't really know, as there are plenty of counters to deck discard already. The Egyptians' discard strategy is not really that good right now; this would definitely cause them to see some more play. And with demons, an uncommonly paired defense!

I do too. I like when the Lost Soul's verse ties directly to its special ability.

If nothing else, that would be a great term for removing demons from the game.

So... Basically the rumor is to just steal Yugioh's term.

I like the ideas here. Particularly Zadok. His ability might be a tad too good but I think having a red/teal tabernacle high priest that's also WC and house of Eleazar is a really good and interesting prospect for decks. Nice job.
