Methuselah idea. Plus anti-speed fun

Just an idea for a Methuselah card. I tied in an anti-speed ability mainly because he lived a really long time. 969 yrs. The second part of his ability just adds a little bonus to extend his lifetime in play. Let me know what you think.

I really like the concept, but it's broken as-is.

I really like the concept, but it's broken as-is.
i feel the protection ability is over the top as is. I just wanted him to have some benefit besides just anti speed that gave him some rescuing potential. I figured if you are playing this than you will need some strong rescues due to an inherent lack of speed was all.

Love it. It needs to be "draws or searches his own deck because of a special ability he used" to prevent rampant forced-draw abuse, and he probably shouldn't be a low-cutter in addition to that great SA, but with that tweak and a few more offense points this guy would be one of the better-designed cards. And because there are *so many* tutors for a Genesis hero, he would be the very first *reliable* speed counter! Mayhem delenda est!
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I want search and draw counters as much as anyone but I think this guy has a little too much going for him. Especially the CBN. I think he would be more balanced by picking two of (stopping search) (stopping draw) and (CBN). Also I would make him a 4/12 or 6/12

No, but being from the line of Seth does, even if it weren't for the fact that the flood was delayed until his death (Methuselah means "his death shall bring").
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Not necessarily, but being known only as the grand father of Noah and not being told of any evil doings certainly doesn't make him evil.  Plus the linage of Noah talks about Jesus WAY too much for him to be evil.  His name alone predicts Jesus' plan: "his death shall bring judgement!"

Rusty Wheel Chair: Restrict each player to drawing 1 card per turn including during draw phase. Cannot be fought with or argued against.

EDIT: Modified first ability to only affect player using the draw or search ability. Changed second ability to be less OP and reflect interpreted meaning of Methuselah's name in relationship to The Flood, and him being a father of antediluvian's in the line of Noah. Also Changed abilities to a 6/9 to make him less of a low cutter and because 969 isn't easily translatable to character stats. Let me know what you think.

It doesn't affect the draw phase now since it requires an ability at least. Opposing confusions against you help now and if you confusion yourself.... seems fun.
