If I had won a category this year, this is likely the card I'd have pushed for (title probably would've been Wandering Stars):

This is the reworked idea I've had brewing since the darkness LS I posted last year. It might be the ultimate splash card, but I think having a character that could hop around would be pretty fun, and it's a way for more Reserve access and Lost Soul gen (drought can still be a problem).

If the card was also an Enhancement, it can be recurred with Jude. Lol

If there's no lost soul in play when he goes down, does he discard himself? He would have zero toughness upon hitting the table, and it seems like he would die by game rule before the ability could do anything.

The ability to search would work, so if you put a Lost Soul in play then he would jump to 1/1 and save himself from discard. If you happened to use the search for an evil card, he would indeed discard himself by game rule.
