Prophet that can't make up his mind....

I look at Saul/Paul and I wonder why there aren't more like that. Here was a quickie I thought of:

Prophet in a Dream
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Grey/Crimson • Ability: 4 / 5 • Class: None • Special Ability: False Religious Practices cannot be negated. If this Evil Character is being discarded after a failed block, heal him and convert him to a Hero.• Identifiers: OT Male Human, Prophet • Verse: Jeremiah 23:28

Prophet in the Word
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Green/White • Ability: 5 / 4 • Class: None • Special Ability: This Hero has access to any site. During this hero's first battle, the first Enhancement used by this Hero cannot be negated. If this Hero is being discarded after a failed rescue attempt, heal him and convert him to an Evil Character. • Identifiers: OT Male Human, Prophet • Verse: Jeremiah 23:28

Ruling Note: Prophet may enter play as either a Hero or Evil Character, holder's choice.

Jeremiah 23:28
"The prophet who has a dream may relate {his} dream, but let him who has My word speak My word in truth. What does straw have {in common} with grain?" declares the LORD.

Nice, I like this card. One thing though, I would make one of the good brigades on him Green, since all prophets are Green nowadays.
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

Good idea. I changed the Blue to Green since I had only picked Blue on a whim :P

Let me get this straight...is this one card where half of it is grey/crimson and the flip side/other half is green/white? Or is it two separate cards?

It's the same as Saul/Paul in terms of flipping, but instead of Grey/Multi, he has the above colors. I'm working on a card pic. It doesn't have an image yet, but I can post it if it would clarify things.

EDIT: Added the image so far.

Uh, I don't like the Hero portion. A CBN Enhancement in those brigades is disastrous for the balance of the game.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Yeah, having two bears/he is risen cbn every battle is pretty rough... you have LOTS of interrups in those brigades.
As a national champion, I support ReyZen deck pouches.

Isn't it just the very first enhancement used by the hero? That was my impression, not the first every battle, although that might have been the intention.

I intended it to be the first ever, not every battle, as you said. Though, it would mean the first after each time he was converted back to a hero (which could be a lot if you lose with him......a lot...... =/)

Do you have a suggestion for something useful I could replace the CBN effect with? I just wanted him to have worthwhile SA's that you would actually want to use and thus give you a reason to convert him back and forth.

The way it reads now, I would rule it to be the 1st every battle.  Abilities reactivate every battle.  If it read "During this hero's first battle, the first Enhancement used by this Hero cannot be negated." then it would work as you intended.

Alright, I'll change that. Does that make it still balanced for the brigades it's in, then?

Well you could just say "The first enhancement played by this hero this game CBN."
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

The only reason I would use that is if you think it's overpowered the way it is now. I honestly dunno how often people would be flipping him back and forth, so idk how often you'd get to trigger the first enhancement in the first battle CBN ability.
