Magic Trick

2/2 Pale Green territory-class evil enhancement

Place on your magician: When that magician blocks, name a good card. Opponent must reveal that card from hand and place beneath deck. If he doesn't have it, discard this card to reveal opponent's hand. Cannot be negated.

"And they were giving him attention because he had for a long time astonished them with his magic arts."  Acts 8:11

It seemed to me like the kind of things that street magicians do all the time - CARD TRICKS.

Make it solid Pale Green and I would like it. It needs abuse powers to be good, and 5 in a T2 would be fun.

I took your suggestion, but understand that it was black because the scripture is regarding Simon the Magician.  I am adding an addendum for him as well.

Cool idea, but two things.

1: Seems kinda wordy. Ok, really wordy.
2: Your Simon clause wouldn't work. You need to make it an identifier.

Ammended, and removed as many words as I could, but keep in mind that it is an "if/then" card.  Thanks for the advice.

that is nasty!

I propose that we make it a territory class enhancement for that reason alone.

Magic Trick

"Place on your magician: When that magician blocks, name a good card. Opponent must place that card from hand beneath deck. If he doesn't have it, discard this card to reveal opponent's hand. Cannot be negated."

I cleaned up the wording a bit. I don't think the bit about Simon is necessary, as you really just need to have a pale guy to use the ability, you can put it on any color magician. And I really don't think many people would use it if they were using Simon as their only magician.

Dude, this card is the coolest ever. I have to say, your card ideas are some of the most fun and original that I've seen, even counting Pol's. I really enjoy seeing them. Keep up the good work!

I love this card! I'd name it "Simon's Magic" or something of the like and make it 2/4ish, though, so it'd get NoN on a future PG/Crimson Simon Magus (so there could be at least some bonus to matching the card with the specific magician in the verse).
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
