So... when friends is played, both you and your opponent are going to take the time to count how many cards are in your deck?  :)

It isn't designed to be a "may" ability but I see your point and will adjust accordingly.

I disagree, Spirit as a Dove relates to Jesus Christ.

Yes, it shouldn't be that hard.

So, Little Children's toughness can change if people exit and/or enter the room while I'm using it?

Many of these are super-OP, some are just a little, but I think John's Disciples is good.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Just curious, why do you use the term "John the Baptizer"?

It describes more accurately what he was doing whereas "Baptist" is really just a denomination.

Is that a commonly used term for him? I mean, I've never heard the story of "John the Baptizer." :-\

Not trying to pic at nit's here, but Sean is correct. If you use the Strongs concordance, the actual definition for the King James word "baptist" is Baptizer". If you really want to get technical (and I usually do  ;D), the real term is Immerser. The ministry that John had was a very old profession. The duties that he performed as an Immerser were to cleanse the people after every instance in which they became "unclean" according to the law. Any time you read of someone haveing to "wash themselves" in Exodus - Deuteronomy, they would go to someone like John the Immerser.

I like John and Children and John's Desciples.

I would like to see a card like this one in the series,

The Word Put on Flesh

Good Dominant

x/x

May band to any Hero who was a Desciple. Becomes the same brigade as Banded Desciple.
Demons may not block. Discard after battle.

If holder has already played Son of God, discard this card Immedeately.

Joh 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Identifier x= Number of Desciples in play
And the Lord will descend with a SHOUT, with the VOICE of the Archangel, and the TRUMPET of God.

Shofarblower, all that is very interesting, but my point was that "John the Baptizer" isn't the most commonly used term for that figure. Besides, that character has already been printed with the name "John the Baptist," so giving him a different name later on might cause confusion, like Seraph did, but worse since he's unique.

Actually, I believe his correct title was "John the Lutheran". At least that's how my church preaches it.

Anyway, I like The Persistent Widow (assuming Parables come about as a cool mini-set of enhancements eventually). Little Children is mildly humorous, but way OP'd. Most of the rest make it a bit too easy in a lot of cases to make your opponent draw (especially Shepherds). A well placed Children with these and other heroes from Gold could decimate a territory with Abom in it. I don't know if the theme needs too much more help in that particular strategy. John's Disciples is good though.
