Game rules state characters can only hold one weapon, but game rules also states that one card per 50 in t1 but cards like Locust from the Pit change the game rules. So I think Goliath, who held a ton of weight in armor, should be able to hold 2 weapons. I believe rulebook states that losing a taunt the hero is captured but if a player taunts, they lose their rescue that turn. Also, my other card says if a Philistine wins a taunt then they can’t attack next turn. Thanks for the love in Evil Spirit from God. I wasn’t sure if rules with owner controller allowed it to work, but it could be reworded if needed. Oh, I just realized I didn’t answer your question. If a hero does not accept they are captured I believe, same as losing the battle.

You just didn't specify it in the ability/identifier, so I was just clarifying the hold part.Paraphrasing this but the REG states that the consequence to not accepting/losing a taunt is card-specific (it's in the parenthesis after the taunt word). You could have a lot of fun with a new taunt on that Goliath, whether the hero is captured or something else.
So by this time David was already a musician and fought a lion but I did not think he should be able to hold weapons because he was not, in my mind, a warrior in an earthly battle. Although I would take the earthly battle over a lion any day, I felt I could leave WC off of him. Since he was a musician I labeled him as such and gave him gold/white. I made Jesse 7/8 because one of the sons was never mentioned and gave David 8/8 because he was the eighth son out of eight, seemed appropriate. I wanted David’s SA to be strong but limited due to his brothers helping him out so if his brother doesn’t grant him CBN on 7Sons Passed, it won’t work on him anyway. He killed a lion to protect his sheep so discard an animal to grab a card that does not see action (reserve) aka sheep…that was my thought process. I also didn’t want to give him another strong ability at the end, and he is unity to cater the deck builds. I feel like David, the Shepherd and Samuel (FooF or RoA whatever he came out in) would be unity if made today. So in 1 Samuel it speaks of 7 sons passing before David but 1 Chronicles list out the children and lists David as the seventh. I did some reading, seems completely customary to leave out a son who died, did not marry, or bore no children back then which is why I made the numbers 1-8/8 based on their lineage and when they were born. I like how they are all gold to make more of an Israelite theme and stay away from some very strong purple/red cards accustomed to David. Also, instead of making another insanely crazy game changing 5+ year impacting David, this offense would require you to have out multiple heroes to really get David to be near bulletproof. The sons are still easily targetable so I do not think this is too powerful and would also require an entire commitment to this offense to get bulletproof David plus CBN/Regardless of protection 7 Sons. It’s also gold and you don’t have initiative majority of the time. It seems strong, but balanced.
