Title: Lone ECs?
Post by: YourMathTeacher on April 09, 2009, 07:04:14 PM
I'm sure this has been mentioned at some time in the past, but why are there no heroes who are immune to lone ECs?

Othniel

6/6  Gold Brigade Hero

Immune to lone evil characters.

Judges 3:9,10   Identifier: Judge

or, if this is too direct, how about an indirect method:

Gibeonite Envoy

3/3  Brown Brigade EC

Immune to lone humans.

Joshua 9:3-6

Probably because immunity tends to be a win for the defense.

I see. But if you were immune, you could keep getting intiative to try to defeat the EC.

Something like Othniel would be nice against many of the "auto-win" standalone characters - Zimri, Otho, Egyptian Warden, etc. I'm all for it.

+1 Tim.  Stopping auto-blockers would be a most excellent use for an immune hero.

Although a trite cumbersome, you can have a hero enter battle with CBN immunity...and that was after Priests.

Better than that you can have a whole slew of characters enter battle with CBN immunity. Unfortunately for them, Mr. Giant de la Douze Finger can mess with them somehow despite all of that.      ;)

Funny you should mention that...   ;)

That was my initial purpose. I was hoping to have some effect against The Rabshakeh with 2K Horses, also.

I like the picture. Thanks!  ;D

Sadly, the horses interrupt the battle, so without a CBI or CBN, it won't help much.

Ah yes. Oh well. It would still be fun for the other guys you mentioned.

I like it, but I'd rather he keep is 4 strength, for the sake of Judge's Seat, and for a little more initiative.  Maybe a 4/6?  4/8?

Great idea.
