Live Coal 4/2 Green enh TC
If a silver brigade hero is in play convert one evil character in play to a green brigade hero.
Updated:
4/2 Green Enh TC
Holder may place this card in territory to convert one human ec in battle to a green brigade hero. While in territory you may convert one of your ecs to any brigade color once per turn
-
maybe make it
CNBn if there is a green birgade and silver birgade in play. This way it actualy benifits bother birgades if the other is in play.
-
It needs something else. As it stands, it's just a weaker Repentance. The extra usefulness on Benaiah doesn't quite cut it.
-
umm this card screams "Dont worry TGT Ill help you".
-take off the territory class ability.
-
OH! I didn't see the TC. Yeah, WAY OP.
-
Thats why I had it need silver, I know TC is OP but would a convert requiring two brigades really be that op'd if used in terr?
-
Meeting the Messiah converts from Territory for the mere cost of the converted character's owner drawing 2 cards.
-
I like it a lot. I don't think it's OP, especially since green already has Sowing the Seed and a good supply of battle-winners, and I don't think many TGT decks would use this very effectively, because it will probably require having at least 2 green (1 being Joanna) and 2 silver heroes in the deck, which most TGT decks can't afford for want of hero space.
-
Are you kidding me? If this card were real, GG everybody. HG+Meeting the Messiah+Live Coal+Passover means you have to keep six EC's in your territory at all times (five if you're using Philistines), or be Protected from Conversion and Shuffle (only Assyrians can do that). That's just ridiculous. Of course, so is five (four for Philistines), but most TGT decks don't use Meeting the Messiah.
If RTS had the appropriate functions, I'd never play any defense but Orange for the reason of being protected from Conversion by way of being Demons, Capture by way of Spiritual Realm, and Discard by way of Color Guard+SS is only Human. Let's see you TGT my Orange defense when I use a real deck and it's not a royal pain to do bottom-of-deck.
All that to say, Orange is strong enough, let's not make it and Pale Green the only Defenses that have a shot.
-
Sure I'll TGT your Orange deck, I call it 3 nails ;) Plus TGT to ignore SSoS.
-
Three Nails is old news. If you're running Demons with staying power, you're using The Pit.
-
Actually Assryians aren't protected from shuffle. Also, why do you have to be protected from shuffle?
Egyptians
Assyrians
Sryians
Philistines (if you use altar)
All are protected from convert, but lets say this becomes un-territory class, what could we do to spice it up. I don't wanna give it the plain old boring CBN. Hm...
-
Actually, Syrians are protected from capture, discard and shuffle, but not conversion. I realized the importance of that when I played my first TGT deck after having not really played for almost a year after RoA. And as RR said, Assyrians are not protected from shuffle, though I'm not sure why that matters.
How about this:
Live Coal
4/2 Green TC
Place on your green brigade Prophet. When that Prophet enters battle, holder may discard an evil card in his territory to convert an opponent's Evil Character to a green Hero. Discard this card after a successful rescue attempt by holder.
This way, it's still helpful pre-block, but it comes with a cost (though it might be a beneficial cost, like discarding Abom). And it would be possible to abuse with TGT, but not quite as easily. Thoughts?
-
thats probably the number one anti-anti-tgt tech i would put in my deck. discarder lost soul is too unreliable, and king hezekiah requires a battle. this requires a mere placement, and im one step closer to a tgt lock. wyn.

Well it would require a battle as well, but I see your point. Perhaps it should say " holder may discard one of his evil cards..."?
-
ah, i didnt notice the enters battle part. if thats the case, its pretty balanced as is.
-
Maybe
Place on your green brigade prophet. Holder may place this card in territory to convert one human ec in battle to a green brigade hero. While in territory you may convert one of your ecs to any brigade color once per turn.
Yes? No? Waffle fries?
-
Waffle fries. For sure. Yum.
Anyway, interesting idea, but I would probably take out the "place on a green brigade prophet" part of it. Or else you could theoretically use it during a battle when the prophet is not in battle (like Magic Charms) which makes it a bit too powerful IMO.
-
So...no one cares about encouraging silver/green anymore? :P
-
So Live Coals 4/2 Green Enh TC
Holder may place this card in territory to convert one human ec in battle to a green brigade hero. While in territory you may convert one of your ecs to any brigade color once per turn.
(Since its in territory you can't you can't replace it but if you needed say a 1/1 hero it'd be a great help.)
-
I love it, Heroless loves it :).
-
I like it, although the whole point of making the card has been completely abandoned. :P
