Brown EE

"If King Ahab is blocking alone, convert him to purple brigade hero to discard all OT male evil characters in play.  End the battle"

"27 And when Ahab heard those words, he tore his clothes and put sackcloth on his flesh and fasted and lay in sackcloth and went about dejectedly. 28 And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 29 “Have you seen how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself before me, I will not bring the disaster in his days; but in his son's days I will bring the disaster upon his house.” " 1 Kings 21:27-29

Though this goes along with Achan's theme of enhancements where you do damage at the cost of losing a battle.  This card would let you basically give up a lost soul to have a chance to destroy your opponents defense (also great for multi player).  I made sure that he had to block alone due to the end of battle part (also would stop unknown nations and any other cards that could add another EC into battle after the enhancement).

I also purposely made it to be stopped by any protection from discard stuff so that it wouldn't be too OP.

Whatcha think?

Wouldn't be used.  It requires you to either use a no SA character or a character who will never get initiative to play this, and then to lose the battle without your opponent having to do anything, for a benefit that really isn't worth it.  Many ECs do not meet the condition to be discarded, most players will keep ECs in hand to protect them, and you have to discard your own as well.  Territory destruction of ECs is already easy enough to do for offenses, there's no real reason to ever include something that hurts you so much to do more of it.

I like the idea but I'm not sure that it would see much play. For one thing, you have to be using King Ahab and have both him and the enhancement at the same time. Also, in today's meta, giving up a soul is not very common unless you're drawing and in T1 people don't typically have that much defense down anyways. Being that King Ahab is 7/7, he probably won't have initiative to even play it half the time and the other half it won't be that effective unless you're facing a deck that mostly balanced which usually have a protect fort or are N.T. I'd imagine that it would be used even less in multi-player due to the fact that it won't be your turn when you play it and getting rid of defense could allow your other opponents to just walk in for free souls, even after getting one from you. I could see it being potentially used in T2, but even more so protect forts or N.T. defenses are used. If anything I think this card is a little under-powered and could use a boost. I'd suggest either adding a way to win the battle but give them a choice of 'insteading' or at least making it cbn or an interrupt since you'd be losing the battle anyway so you might as well gain from it.

Also, as Drrek said, you'd have to discard your own ECs unless you splashed it in a N.T. offense which I wouldn't foresee happening.

This is a very situational card that would be mostly useless in constructed, it needs a specific character (King Ahab) who is a very valuable Evil Character (converting him means you can't play another one in T2) it gives your opponent a Lost Soul (usually) and probably won't do a whole lot of damage (or will do just as much damage to you)

However I really like the idea of the card thematically, but it needs some work:

First of all, make it a territory class enhancement that places itself in your territory. Yes I know that it may sound strange, but trust me. Secondly make it instead a removal, this makes it work against CBN battle winners. Finally word it something like this:

Ahab Repents: Brown Brigade Enhancement. Territory Class.
Place in your territory: If Ahab is harmed or defeated by an opponent you may discard this card and convert Ahab to purple brigade to discard all OT males Evil characters in play. End the battle.

This allows you to use it in a hopeless situation to at least gain some benefit. It also gives an excellent starting point for more repentance based cards, something that should be a fairly important part of Redemption. You could make entire series of cards about repentance of characters that work in similar ways.

That sounds great.  However, I was hoping to make sure he's the only one blocking so you couldn't win and destroy their defense (though brown doesn't have much banding cards IIRC).  The style of it has been used before (Gibeonite Treaty).  Maybe it would be worth it to take away the OT part (so you could also take care of Herod/roman defenses).
