Jephthah is too powerful.  First, AUtO and AwSN make him much more powerful when printed in Gold, but that's only a secondary issue.  The ability was balanced before, but this card removes the balance, as far as I see it.
1. You had to discard your top card of deck.  There are ways around the penalty of this ability as it is written, and it is less potent because of it.  It is currently worded so that it could not target Jephthah, so you could add him to a Sam+Prophet deck with Obi Wan's Caves and never have to pay the cost.
2. You could only target territory and set-aside before.  Now he is a CBI (see below...) battle-winner when banded in.
3. He could be prevented or negated before without problem, but now he's CBI.

I would recommend changing the ability to have a discard or removal of 'your' card be a cost to do the discard.  I'd also either remove the ability to use it on characters in battle or the CBI, having both makes the card too powerful.

But I do like Shamgar :)  Not as useful as the other judges, but that's perfectly fine, and he has some FBTN qualities that makes him have potential without being OP.

Jephthah is too powerful.
I guess that would put him up there with all the others...

You can still put Sam in Oby's Caves... But I guess that doesn't matter too much seeing as how no one would have Oby's Caves in there just for that if it's a Judges deck. However, not too many people would use it seeing as how Judges use multiple angels who are judges which would make it sorta circumstantial. I sorta think we should stick with the top of deck discard. Otherwise, I like Shamgar, and he'd probably see some use with Asahel and Israelite Archer.
