Saw that Mel Gibson was making a movie about this guy. Check out his biography. Sounds like he has real potential to be a Redemption Character.

Has to be Red but considering that he was a terror to Assyrians, Cleansed the Temple, and made a treaty with Rome. He picked up a unique sword along the way. Pretty impressive dude. Would like to hear ideas on cards based on his accomplishments.

I usually oppose ideas from the Apocrypha, but since he was actually a historical figure in between the testaments, I could see it.

Wasn't there something in Daniel prophesying about the Maccabean revolt? I guess I'd have to read it again...if so, he would be similar to Antiochus.
