Josephs in Egypt
0/0 Blue/White Good Enhancement, TC
-no identifiers-
"Place in territory: Protect your Heroes from gold evil cards and Joseph from decrease and side battles. If you control Joseph and Mary you may negate a Site and search deck or discard pile for an unplayed Son of God."
~Genesis 39:1/Matthew 2:19

So I had an idea to make this card and was really wanting to make an epic ability, but everything really awesome that I thought of was way too long to actually print on a card unfortunately. So I squished it down to this.

It's powerful and maybe should be territory class?

After it says "good enhancement" it says "TC." That stands for territory class.

Since it's Territory-Class, and places itself in territory, any numbers on it wouldn't affect battle (unless the ability was prevented).

Oh, yeeeaaa. However, it's is still kind of hard to use since it needs Mary AND Joseph. I don't think it would get used a lot, Birth foretold is easier to use.

I designed it more as a thematic card than a "this is going in every deck" card.

This card is very powerful, even if we'd have to use 'less powerful' cards.

For more theme and to balance, as well as to make the ability less cumbersome, have it say something like "Set Joseph the Carpenter and Mary aside for one turn.  While they are set-aside, protect characters in your territory and set-aside from opponents.  On return, search deck for Son of God."

One day I will make my Christmas Deck, and a card like would be very useful.

Took me a moment to get this :P

I like this. It feels like it has a place in a Genesis deck even if it isn't overpowered, and it makes a little-to-never used NT theme playable. Me gusta.
ANB is good. Change my mind.
