it means you cant add an evil character to battle like you would normally block. only blocks by special ability would work (isaiahs sa, unknown nation, etc.).

well, if both you and your opponent had an ec in play, you would both choose 1 of them to put in battle.

So the character's ability is specifically to set up the enhancement, and otherwise has 2+ blockers every battle. Seems awfully random and non-useful, imho.

Actually, he's got a TON of uses even without his Enhancement. The Enhancement was an afterthought.

I'll give you that he'll probably always have initiative unless both players are using very low numbered ECs, but I still don't see him being that useful, lol. I'm probably missing something obvious, though. XD

Not sure If I like the enhancement. Seem's auto win too me. Make every one block with one EC, then send them all away, recur FTW. Maybe I misread.

It's negatable and doesn't ITB. It's just an alternative to Two Bears and Plague of Frogs, no more or less powerful than either of them.

The more you think about Isaiah's ability, the more powerful you'll realize he is.
