So i was thinking of a Mill/Lock deck and then i thought: What if there was a card that let you either draw 1 for each brigade you have or make your opponent draw one for each brigade you have? (both options on the card with the choice to use one or the other. And maybe a banish after use drawback.) And does such a card already exist? If it does not, it should. (it should probs be a dominant or all-brigade territory card. Personally i think it would be fantastic with greek defenses, multi brigade decks like job and temple priests and mayhem. Or just any mill.) Please consider this idea, Godbless. -INoahGuy

There are a few cards that let you draw depending on the brigades your opponent has in play (Messenger of Satan, Outsider (Black/Gold), Emperor Vitellius, Throne of David, etc.) and also in their hand (Damsel with a Spirit of Divination, The Lying Prophet, Hannah), but, as we discussed privately, forcing your opponent to draw does not really help you all that much since decking out is not an auto-lose. I do think it would be cool though to print a card that mills your opponent for each of their brigades (potentially just good brigades). Would definitely give mill a bit of a boost.

I think a card that lets a player other than yourself (or possibly each player) draw based on the number of brigades they have in play could have some utility in Multiplayer, especially if it's a dominant or other card you can use at any time, as you could use it to help a player make a block they otherwise couldn't do. Although I'm not sure if it would make it into decks, but it might be interesting, although to be fair, Mayhem already has some of this utility (although the chaotic nature of Mayhem makes it somewhat unreliable).

yeah i have learned that mill isn't great but it would still be viable to get a lot of cards if you have a small hand or with cards that decrease hand limit (serpent's curse, etc.) especially with slower decks or just cards that punish draws like greeks. think of what it could do with postexilics if it makes opponents discard till they have the hand limit regardless of playing cards.

Job's Trial (Job 1:21) - 0/0 Brown/Blue TC enhancement.
Place in territory, during your upkeep while Job is in play discard the top 2 cards of opponent's deck. If used by Job in battle, discard an animal and/or the top 4 cards of a deck and bounce this card.

Discards the top 4 for the 4 messengers, also to make it a strong mill card. Job decks tend to sit and defend, so mill would work for this strategy. God took away, but for a reason, hence the good and evil. It's a Job card, so it comes out easy, can sit in territory and then Abe's Descendant can bounce it back to hand to be played in battle. Job's Faith hits their hand, Job's Trial would hit their deck. Job can get this card back too, the card bounces itself if played to help the strategy and Job never has initiative. I would love to see this card, if only I was able to make new cards...

Hmm, will this fit? Isn't Job so far more regarding hand control and Exodus stuff for milling? Would be great if these directions could be strenghthens each on its own.

Yeah, this would be nearly as devastating when happening in T1 as the LaFS combo.

Having the Job stuff targetting opponent's hand instead of deck would still be preferred on my side since it fits more with the Job control things which had several attempts in the past already.

I wonder if we could make a balanced Mill win condition, since decking out isn't one. I've toyed with the idea of an enhancement that plays to LoR and converts itself to a redeemed Soul if the opponent's deck runs out.

As a Job user I would love that card. And my idea for a mill deck card isn't really good. But i thought of a support card for both LaFS and Job: Honoring God. 3/3, GE, Multi, Job 1:8: STAR: Use This Cards' Special Ability. SA: Search Your Reserve For A Blue Enhancement, If You Do, Play 1 Lost Soul From Your Deck. Reserve This Card. (This One Is Great For Both LaFS And Job As It Can Get LaFS, Pigs, Job's Faith, The Suggested Job's Trial And Any Other Blue Enhancement You May Need. Plus You Can Get It Back From Reserve. Something To Watch Is That It Doesn't Have Any Form Of Protection Though, So Michael Is A Great Way To Get Protection AND Support Your Job Core With Testing.)
