Title: In human form
Post by: stefferweffer on September 02, 2010, 09:58:57 AM
2/2 Gray Territory-class Evil Enhancement

Place in an opponent's territory.  Evil cards that affect human heroes now affect opponent's silver heroes in the same manner.

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it."  Heb.13:2

Why gray? I'm thinking it should be orange or PG.

Orange seemed the most natural at first, but Orange gets "splashed" too much in my opinion.

I was thinking of who could benefit from this the most, and most agree that gray needs some help (mainly captures).  If it would make people play a less used defensive color more I figure that would be good for the game as a whole.  Evil Gold could probably also benefit from this big time, with cards like Egyptian Warden.  I don't have a preference either way though.

Why is this evil? I like the concept, but I don't think the name and verse go with it. Maybe:

Sodom
Silver Site
"Your Evil Enhancements may target Angels as if they were Human."

Totally love this idea.

However it works I would be fine with, but I think they should be targeted by ANYTHING that can target a human hero, like Egyptian Warden or Unholy Writ too.

I think that may be a bit much. Silver is bad enough as-is...

Well, with high places you can use it regardless of birgade.

No, no you can't. Enhancements used with High Places still need a character of matching brigade in territory.

No, I don't think they do...

Yes they do. They can be played in territory, but this still have to be played... and on someone of the same brigade.

My card doesn't say that. It says, "During your preparation and discard phases, you may play evil Enhancements that contain the word "place" in the special ability. If you capture a Hero in a territory, discard this card." It doesn't have any identifyers. It doesn't say you have to have an evil character of matching birgade in play.

It's a game rule that enhancements must be played on a character of matching brigade. Since High Places doesn't specify otherwise, cards played with it must follow said game rule.

High places basically make all place cards into territory cards.
