Blood of the Lamb (reprint)

Justin in his Word of Their Testimony article, on Land of Redemption today, put forth a challenge/suggestion about a possible combo with a Blood of the Lamb reprint and his lovely new card. I couldn't let that pass and came up with the following. I tried to have a high cost to keep it balanced (using Eternal Inheritance as the basis) but also tried to keep it thematic.

The verse specifies that they didn't love their life even in the face of death so that's the reason this card both interrupts the battle (so it can be used if your heroes are "dying") and then also removes your heroes from the game.

I wanted the ability for Word of Their Testimony to have already been played and still be combo-able with this card, which is why it currently removes WoTT from either hand or discard pile, but if people think that's OP then I can change it to just hand.

I selected CBI because it's slightly less powerful than CBN and allows enhancement prevention to still force you to delay the combo. I know WoTT was specifically CBP to allow Daniel to use it, but I felt that CBN made this too powerful. I'd love opinions/thoughts on that.

I think the ITB should be removed.  I also think this is a little easy to rescue a LS with, even if the ITB is removed.  I'd prefer Word of Their Testimony to have to be in play.
If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I

Colosseum really makes CBI/CBN on Enhancements equally strong for different reasons. A CBI Enhancement will not be made a dead card by Colosseum, but will be stopped by prevents, and vice-versa. What I've heard from the playtesters is that going forward, typically CBN or CBP will be used if its to boost power value on the card and CBI will be used if negating would be unduly messy but would not otherwise be CBN. The SA on this card could really go either way imo.

As to that SA, Rehoboam says "hi." There's a reason alternate rescue conditions are very specific about stopping weasely ways to rescue multiple times per round, and side-battles are tops. In fact, you could, with this card, win on round 2 of the game. Now, assuming the SA were otherwise the same but all loopholes were closed. Assuming two 56 card decks, playing Blood of the Lamb and Burial will lead to massive LS shortages even with adequate LS generation for your opponent. It also functions as a CBN negate. And its cost? Not being able to use a battle-winner you'd already used again, not being able to use the Hero you play it on again (and it can be literally any Hero, including ones that don't do much once your deck's developed), and having to play the card.

I like where you're going with this, and I like Exodia combos, but this one is just too easy and too packed with value in its current form. Make it Blue and have to be used by an N.T. Hero and then maybe it's balanced.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I was thinking about Coliseum when I decided to go with CBI (didn't mention that in the post, though) and I wanted to make sure this could work around it.

Admittedly I didn't even consider side battle shenanigans when I was coming up with the condition for this effect (which is why I didn't include any verbiage about continuing as a battle challenge or ending the battle or anything). I'd like to keep it multi (or, at the very least, not a brigade that doesn't have a NT theme haha) and have it combo with WoTT, any specific thoughts on how to change the condition to be balanced with that in mind?

Haha, the N.T. Blue thing was a joke. Honestly I don't even like making suggestions on cards like this beyond "now that you know about those problems, be creative again!"

:D Fair enough. I'll give it some further mulling over and repost once I have reworked the ability to try and fix the problems.
