"Negate all artifacts except Curses and Covenants. May band to Eve."

Eve

7/3 Blue Hero

"If Adam is in play, search deck for an OT human and place in hand."

The Serpent

2/3 Crimson/Orange EC
-Animal-
"Holder may place an Evil Enhancement from hand or territory on a human hero in play. All Lost Souls are protected from rescue while that enhancement remains and that hero is in battle. Enhancement's ability has no effect while it remains."

Garden Cherubim

6/8 Silver Hero WC

"Holder may discard an evil enhancement placed on a hero to shuffle that hero into deck. Search deck for a silver enhancement with "interrupt" or "negate" in the special ability and place in hand.

Curse of the Ground

2/4 Crimson Curse

"All players must play with their hands revealed while this card is active. If used as an Artifact, this may be used for two rounds."

Garden of Eden

Silver Site

"All Lost Souls held here are protected from rescue by heroes with evil cards placed on them."

I like most of these ideas, but I must ask, why did you give Adam and artifact-negating ability? And Eve is pretty much just a better version of Leah. I would try abilities like this:

Adam
8/4 Blue Hero
"If you have no other heroes, you may search deck for Eve and put her in play. May band to Eve. Adam and Eve have access to Garden of Eden and are protected from discard abilities unless blocked by The Serpent."

Eve
7/3 Blue Hero
"Adam's ability cannot be interrupted."

I gave Adam his ability because I think a hero like that would be awesome. With more and more artifacts coming out and being able to go different places, I think a negate all Artifacts character is needed. And it makes sense, since there wasn't much in the way of human made stuff when Adam was around, so it makes sense that human made things (like most artifacts are) wouldn't work. He doesn't negate Curses since, well that should be obvious, and he doesn't negate Covenants since God made a covenant with him.

As far as Eve goes, I realize that Leah has a similar ability, but since Eve is the mother of all living, I decided she should be able to search for ANY OT human (EC's included).

Your Adam and Eve would be a bit too powerful IMO. 15/7 CBI protection from discard abilities? Yowza.

I agree a character like this would be cool, but I don't think that Adam is the one to have such an ability. Making artifacts not work is definitely not a highlight of Adam's reputation.

I see where you're going with this, but the ability is still really OP. Maybe a cost? Women are forced to go through severe pain in childbirth because of Eve, right? Maybe we could work something out with that...

This was mainly meant to combat CM, and I thought it was appropriate since Adam & Eve couldn't die until after the fall. Besides, how many hero-d/c enhancements are there anyway? There are a couple in black, so that might hurt Phillies a little (good thing IMO), and there are a couple not-too-commonly-used crimson ones, and that's about it. Also, almost everyone uses Confusion of Mind. However, maybe the CBI is too much.

It's not that he made them not work. It's that "artifacts" wouldn't have had any effect on his life.

I don't view getting characters out of the draw pile is that OP, and Adam must be in play for it to even work. But I suppose a cost might be warranted. Maybe, "place a Genesis enhancement from hand on the bottom of your deck to...". I don't want the cost to be too big, like discarding anything, as otherwise no one would use it when there are better options.

I suppose that is somewhat true, but I just feel like we should be very selective with future abilities that we make CBI.

This isn't exactly a cost, but it basically delays the search ability, and also simulates the experience of birth (or at least goes about as far as you can in a card game

).

I suppose that is somewhat true, but I just feel like we should be very selective with future abilities that we make CBI.

Well, if we keep Eve with the search ability, then this shouldn't be a problem, right?

I actually like that type of idea a lot. It sets you up for the next turn.

The Garden of Eden - Silver site - Protect all lost souls in this site from being rescued by humans.

... although thinking about it, a garden of eden card makes no sense, because everyone got kicked out... so how could there be a lost soul in there to begin with?

I really like the ability on that Adam. Post people try to make some crazy ability but that one is nice and simple. The other cards imo are just meh... Cept maybe curse of the ground :p It would be cool if you made that into a fort or something instead.

That's the point, after the fall, they couldn't get back into the garden. Still, I agree, it's insanely OP'D. I like the thought process though.

No, that is still OP'd. It forces everything but angels and genesis to be useless. All ya gotta do is kill their sog, place a ls in there and BAM. Sog nj burial = 4 ls max.

People who have sinned (represented by having evil cards placed on them) can't access the Garden of Eden. That way it complements a strategy, but not everyone would use it, and it's biblically accurate.
