2 John currently is the only book of the Bible without a Redemption card. It doesn't provide a lot of material to work with, but I think that if we put our heads together we could come up with some interesting stuff. Here's my first idea:

Refusing False Teachers

Purple 0/0 GE, TC

Place in your territory. While there, no opponent may place or exchange any Lost Souls or captured characters into your territory. You may discard this card to shuffle all captured characters in your territory into owner's draw piles.

II John 10.  

What are some others you can think of?

How about, "Place in a territory. Protect all Lost Souls and captured characters from being added to, removed from, or exchanged into that territory."

um...wouldnt that protect lost souls from being added to lob (when drawn) and rescued from?

i think the card is perfectly fine. not every territory enhancement has to be uber-powerful...tc's in and of themselves are powerful enough, being pseudo-dominants and all.

I thought it was ruled that "protect" only stopped SA's, not game rule and stuff. (Maybe that's something for the new REG though.)

Granted, I only gave him a modified quote but here is my idea.

Elect Lady

Multi Hero (Purple/White/Green) 3/3

May band to a Deacon to search discard pile for any good card discarded by special ability used by an opponent. Cannot Be Negated.

2Jn 1:8  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

OK so the character is mentioned in verse one, but the ability comes from verse 8.

I love it, except for the tricolor. At most make it two colors, I'd say White and Gold.

That hasn't stopped Redemption before. Jambres and Jannes are only mentioned in 1st? 2nd? Timothy, but their reference is exodus
