Good Dominant
"Discard an evil card placed on a good card, or convert a human evil character in your territory to a hero in the brigade of your choice."
I was going for useful but not deck staple. And it helps heroless :)
-
I like the card a lot, though I think it might be more useful as a Territory Class enhancement (Perhaps Good Gold or White?).
-
The Holy Spirit can't be an enhancement.. lol

I meant the ability of the card. It lends itself more to being an enhancement than a dominant.

Agreed. seems like it'd fit the Luke/John theme.

By converting a human evil character in your own territory, it fits the Luke/John theme? This card would be OP if it converted any human in play. It would be in every TGT deck, and TGT would be in every deck.

No Offense, but this HAS to be an enhancement. To many Doms. I am not trying to hurt your post, but you MUST make this an enhancement. There are already what, ten doms??
SOG
NJ
AOTL
Grapes
Glory of the Lord
FA
DON
Burial
CM
Mayhem
Missing Any??
But, I do like the idea! Make it(----my opinion!-----) a Purple TC enhancement. This would go good with disciples. But.....Then Again....ET, ad John are purple , so this wouls be stpale in TGT decks! :police:

My earlier post was being sarcastic. The way I wrote Holy Spirit only converts a human EC in owner's territory. In other words, it can't be used for territory destruction.
And I agree with an earlier post - Holy Spirit should not be an enhancement, it should be a dominant. If it would be an enhancement (a tragedy IMO) it should be a multi-TC, which is basically a dominant.
hi123, right now I believe there are 13 dominants. The problem many players have with dominants is not how many of them there are, but how many of them are deck staples. The way I have written Holy Spirit, it would DEFINITELY not be a deck staple.
-
I think the Holy Spirit should be a good dom that you place on a hero to give it some kind of boost.

How about this...
Place on a hero, while that hero is in battle it is protected from discard abilities and shuffle abilities.
What do you think it would put a counter against grapes to help out heroless.

Yes. Then make it force opponents to draw cards!

my opinion: when I think Holy Spirit in redemption, I think dom, but there are already too many.
I guess my thought would be...
Multicolored Hero, 4/4
Identifier: genderless, non-human, non-angel
"Convert a human evil character in your territory to a hero in the brigade of your choice. Shuffle this card into draw pile to add that hero to battle. Holy Spirit cannot be ignored, discarded or removed from the game. Cannot be negated."
OR
Good Dominant
"Convert a human evil character in your territory to a hero in the brigade of your choice. Add that hero to battle. That hero cannot be ignored this turn."
I can see how either would be "too" powerful, but in my opinion these would be the most logical special abilities for something with the title "Holy Spirit".
Based on reality, it should rival SoG for power. But o/c we we need a "God" card if we made this, wouldn't we? ::) .... and then a "Trinity" card... :P
-
SoG, Holy Spirit, and God are all dominants...
The Trinity - artifact
If SoG, HS, and God hav all been played, opponent must give you all Lost Souls in his Land of Redemption and place them in yours, regardless of protection.

It would also make your Grapes a battle winner.

Holy Spirit
"Place on a hero. That hero is protected from conversion and cannot be ignored. Each time that hero wins a battle, you may convert an evil character to a hero in the brigade of your choice and each player must draw a card."
I'm not feeling very creative today, but I had something like that in mind. Not too OP, and generally theme-specific.

bubble boy's idea is good :)

I like it, but had two recommendations...
I'm not sure what you meant it to be, but how it's worded, you could make it a dom. Whatever it is, it has to be able to be used by any hero.
I would have the draw a card in there. It would just become an abom trigger, and if anything "Holy Spirit" should do just the opposite

no dominants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
