Empty Talkers sounds like a good candidate for a Toss ability. What about:

"While blocking alone, toss enhancements. After battle, search each discard pile for all enhancements tossed this battle and underdeck them. Cannot be prevented."

For Multitude, I'm not sure it quite works as you intended (yet). If opponent plays AoC Promo or CBN Edict, your Multitude has already been targeted for discard and therefore you cannot discard him yourself. What about:

"If this character is discarded by a special ability used by an opponent, you may add a Heretic from territory to battle. Cannot be interrupted."

I like your idea for toss, didn't think to try using that, and have updated Talkers accordingly. I swapped the toughness of the two characters to make Talkers a little bit more powerful in that regard.

For Multitude, I thought instead abilities overrode the entirety of the insteaded ability (if you use Herod's Temple to save your character it was as though they were never discarded) so I'm not sure why you couldn't do something else to them? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding instead.

I could be wrong, but I think it would need to say "If opponent plays an Enhancement this battle that cannot be negated to discard this character, you may discard this character to add a Heretic from territory to battle instead. Cannot be negated."

If I understand "instead" correctly (which is no guarantee...), there has to be a targeting ability to be insteaded as you can't really instead the playing of a card just the effects of a played card.

I think you're right, I was mis-remembering Judas' Plot which was my basis for the instead. I had thought it just said "If opponent plays a good dominant" but it specifically states when a dominant discards or rescues.

Multitude has been updated and should *hopefully* actually work now. :P
