With recent threads about silver being too slow (among other reasons) for standalone, I thought about this:

A Good Measure - Type: Hero Enhancement - Brigade: Silver - Ability: 2/2 - Class: Weapons - Special ability: You may place a card from hand beneath deck to draw two.  Reference: Luke 6:38.

Thoughts?

This doesn't help Angels, it mostly helps Gardensciples.
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

When I see a Gardenciple deck using a WC Angel, that'll be the day.

I love this idea! Silver has a lot of pretty good WC characters, but only one good weapon. It should be a card of your choice, though, and it should go to bottom to promote synergy with Demons (RLK's love Angel/Demon decks so it'd be good for the game). I'd find a different verse and name (maybe a Flaming Sword reprint?) but the idea is one of the better I've seen.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Pol, thanks for the nice feedback!  I chose the verse because it seemed to fit well with the mechanics of the card. (I actually thought about calling it tithe at first, but that was already taken).  Making it player choice and putting on bottom are good ideas, and would be fun to use with my GoH deck.  I will think some on the name and verse.

Now it's better. But u don't have to say 'When Hero enters battle..." because Weapons activate when they enter battle.
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

This. And "draw pile" is archaic now, it's just "deck." The fully updated SA would read:

"You may place a card from hand beneath deck to draw two."

Updated.  It occurred to me that the Luke reference also allows Gabriel (Di) to search for it from discard, giving Angels a little recursion help also.

FTFY.  The only way that a hero should ever be using a weapon-class enhancement to play pre-block enhancements is if Holy Grail was involved.

I made a weapon for Silver for the player-made expansion that continued its deck-discard thing and also would help with soul gen.

Weapon of Light
3/2 Silver weapon-class enhancement
"Reveal the top 2 cards of opponent's deck.  Discard the evil cards and put lost souls in play.  Place the rest beneath deck."

That's true.  But Hidden Treasures requires a lone hero (Jacob + an angel with a "Play" WC GE already gets around this - more heroes = more brigades), takes up your art slot, and it is still so powerful that they are starting to print Green prophets that negate Play abilities.  I can already promise you that if Deborah is ever reprinted, she will negate Hidden Treasures somehow so that she can't play Samson's Sac preblock, and she will also be CBN so that you can't use Holy of Holies to stop her from negating HT.

Angel Decks already hurt Weapons (Gloria) and there is already ways to get around Enhnacements played pre-battle. And don't forget the current decks can negate that too. (Iron Pan, KoT, 7yrsofFamine, etc) and my set (the one that the idea comes from) can stop it too.
