Post by: browarod on April 10, 2012, 03:12:51 PM
Greek Scholars
3/7 Black EC
-Greek, Generic-
"If a NT Hero is in battle, protect Greeks from capture and conversion. May band to Greek Philosophers. Cannot be negated if a black Enhancement is in an opponent's territory."
~1 Corinthians 1:20

Greek Philosophers was designed for the purpose of having an actual defensive trigger of Abom (rather than having to rely on your offense doing it) or to help you draw into it if you haven't gotten it yet.

Maybe give CBP to Philosophers to get around FBTN.
Here's a card I made for Scholars:

I like them. They would give Greeks more oomph.

Love em' finally some greeks that actually help with A-bomb.  It would be nice if there was an enhancement like greek philosophers ability, a "opponent must draw to discard hero in battle" or something along those lines

I think the ability you have for Philosophers would work better as an enhancement. :2cents:

13-14 cards down are my versions.- http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/new-card-ideas/card-submissions-for-gallery/50/ (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/new-card-ideas/card-submissions-for-gallery/50/)

I wanted Philosophers to have a draw ability, but I guess I can change the discard.

Just wondering, but wouldnt they be counted as Heretics (as they are mentioned in their verses)?

I really do like the idea! The cards sound really good, I wouldn't change them.
