Looks good, all I would add is: "If Kentucky Fried Chicken is in play holder may yell 'Whoohooo! yah! Chicken! Discard Glutton if Without Food or hunger has been played this game."

Super awesome idea I love how it's better the less cards are in your hand. You'd have to use a very different strategy. I love it.

I think it makes American sense this way but Biblically it is better your way seeing as how Redemption is based on the Bible.
I like it and it would very helpful to the brown brigade which doesn't need very much help so for game purposes, I would say change it to black instead because it is New Testament and black could use it more than brown.
