Generics

Someone brought up in one of Gabe's threads that generics fitting into any culture defense would be awesome, so here's some thoughts. Brigades were assigned mostly arbitrarily and can definitely be changed.

Multicultural identifier - "This card gains the culture identifier(s) of your other characters of the same alignment in play."

Mocker
3/8 Brown EC
-Generic, Multicultural-
"Protect generic Evil Characters from capture. May band to a generic Evil Character. Evil banding abilities cannot be negated."
~Isaiah 28:22

Boaster
3/8 Gray/Black EC
-Generic, Multicultural, Taunt (Set aside a Hero for 2 turns)-
"Protect generic Evil Characters from conversion. This character gains 2/2 for each other generic Evil Character in battle. Cannot be negated."
~2 Timothy 3:2

Inventor of Evil Things
X/8 Crimson/Orange EC
-Generic, Multicultural, X = # of demon tokens in play-
"You may set aside your generic demon to put 2 demon tokens in play that are copies of that demon. When both tokens leave play, return that demon to play. Cannot be interrupted."
~Romans 1:30

Whisperer
3/8 Gray EC
-Generic, Multicultural-
"Select a unique character: You may treat that character as generic this battle to draw 2. Cannot be interrupted."
~Proverbs 16:28

I think this ability is awesome, but I think it would fit better on a Workers With Familiar Spirits reprint.

I'm glad you like the ability. :)

As for the WwFS comment, I think a reprint for him that bands to demons or something like that would fit just as well. At this point, I'm not only trying to make generics that fit into multiple themes but also that you could conceivably make a theme just with these guys together, so they have to have good abilities on their own as well.

Inventor is the most creative card on the list. I also think his ability is awsome.

Thanks guys. :)

UPDATED with Whisperer as well as slightly changed Drunkard. He now searches for Drunkenness (and has a brigade to match).

UPDATE 2: Changed the wording of the Multicultural identifier to make it workable as a good identifier, too.

Is Whisperer supposed to act like Self but copying a unique evil character? Either way the writing needs some work.

Whisperer is supposed to turn a unique character into a generic character for that battle. For example, you could block with Whisperer and choose one of your other Evil Characters to be generic for that battle. I see it being more useful in T2 now that I think about it some more.

UPDATE BUMP!

Added card images for Drunkard and Sluggard as well as almost completely revamped Sluggard's special ability. Not entirely happy with the new version, not to mention I'm pretty sure it's OP, but I didn't know what else to do with it.

Looks good. I don't thing Sluggard is OP since you can only withdraw one Brigade. I may even remove the multiple brigades stipulation and make him TC CBI so it works against Mary and friends.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Who's Drunkenness?
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

It's an older enhancement. You could have found that out from the REG, though....

I don't favor the idea of TC characters so I don't make mine that way, but the suggestion is noted, thanks! I'm actually more interested in your opinion of Inventor of Evil Things. :P

Being able to block with Trembling demon all the time is powerful enough as-is. I don't think we need a guy that can make one into three.
