Looking at sites in Redemption, only Teal has no generic sites (Teal has 3 with special abilities), making it hard to make a site deck using only teal sites.
So can we make a few non-special ability teal sites to fix the problem? :)

Sites as soul lockers alone have been phased out. It's now an added bonus to any pseudo-Fortress the PTB want to be printed as a Site.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. I still wish they would print a generic teal site. :P

Well actually they were never phased out it was really the whole new form of releasing new cards by Cactus which has limited the amount of "filler" cards being printed every year like a generic teal site. Because when you can only print around 100 cards per year are you really going to waste one of those slots on something with no SA or would you print Grapes of Wrath instead?

They were indeed phased out. What you said is also true, but sitelock is no longer something the playtesters want encouraged by new cards.

Well, we do have Starters coming up next. It could be possible to print a no-SA teal site there.

As much as I hate playing against sitelock it's one of the few strategies needed to keep offense in check.

That's not necessarily true. I can see us printing strong cards for site lock again some day. Last I heard the current set isn't going to print until the end of the year. The way it currently looks, it could have up to 2 teal sites, but neither lacks a special ability. And who knows if those will still be on the list when it's finalized. ::)

Spoiler alert. Teal sites pretty much confirms what a lot of people thought - Teal will be one of the offenses in the new set, since that would be silly to put in Teal sites with no opposing Teal heroes.
Maybe this was already spoiled though. The spoilers have been so few and far between I honestly can't remember them.
