Title: Generic Prophets and More!
Post by: Master Q on August 11, 2017, 05:11:56 PM
Some ideas I've had for awhile. Would like to see some more generic prophets in the game and cards that encourage use of older cards. :)

I like how the characters encourage you to use O.T. prophets (and not Moses) specifically, although I think Axe Head is too strong. Adding interrupt the battle to enhancements that don't normally have it is extremely powerful, combined with the ability to go look for exactly the enhancement you need, topped off with the ability to recur already used cards, the utility of TC, and even being able to keep reusing the card multiple times for free. Powerful enhancements are already an incentive to play green and this makes your already good enhancements even better and more consistent.

The black and blue cards are fantastic.

Ax is probably already already good without interrupting the battle, but outside of Two Bears green really doesn't have many enhancements that interrupt. I would like to see another good green interrupt sometime, but perhaps its better-suited to something that can't tag out for ANB or a side battle card.

Blue and black is a fun offense/defense pairing. :)

Green has Faith of Samuel and Blood of the Lamb. Two of the best interrupts in the game.

True, but I was thinking along the lines of Elymas Struck Blind or Counsel o' Abigail; something that interrupts + wins outright. In that way, green doesn't have terribly great options. With all the white I've been using, I forget BotL can be played on green sometimes. :P
