Thought I'd give a sneak peak of the facelift I'm giving the new Keys to the Kingdom cards! Credit to Polarius for coming up with this card.

Shouldn't this be Alexander the Coopersmith?

He looks more like a blacksmith than a redsmith.  ;)

Ironically, that picture is the spitting image of my wife's brother. He used to be a semi-pro wrestler in North Carolina (6'3" 270 lbs.), with the bald head and long beard. I'll have to see if I can find and post a picture of him when he looked like that.  ;D

He once came to visit my school for an assembly and gave me a suplex (onto a mat), and I wasn't light (6'0" 200 lbs.). :o
My wife is a hottie.

as much as i can't imagine them going with a full card redesign for redemption, i LOVE your card design man. it looks really cool and from the previews of keys to the kingdom it really is a nice face lift. i just can't see them adopting it because of how long they have had the current look (and for how many people are still trying to figure out what redemption cards can do to begin with- a whole other look makes it that much more confusing). but again, i really love what you have come up with! looks very modern and forward in terms of a competitive, edgy, look/feel.

as for the card idea, seems a bit op. after having my hand wrecked a few times from a couple of combos (that thankfully do not happen often) having one card that can do this would pretty much be gg.

i feel like what i like about redemption is that in at least t1 2p you can't win first turn or second turn. i like the idea of the game lasting at least 5 turns or so. having your hand wrecked to 0 turn 1 could basically almost ensure they could win with this card by turn 3 in some cases. this is also why i am for the mulligan in redemption

Yeah, this does seem a bit OP to me. If you use Unknown Nation and The Amalekites' Space Slave to tutor him right away, combined with the fact that he's essentially CHI because they won't have anything to play. It would be fun to try and come up with combos for it but he would essentially make hand protection essential when it's only directly available for a few themes.
