Free TexP Contest Winners!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we had a whopping 36 people vote for the amazing card you came up with!  Thank you!!!

All the cards submitted were creative and cool but the people have spoken and chosen their winners!!!

Our 1st place winner is Babel by mosestaff.  This card edged out the 2nd place winner by 1 vote!

Tartaros by Gil Galad Elven King is the 2nd favorite card of the people!

Both winners can expect a PM from me soon to gather their contact information.  Your TexP pack will be mailed as soon as the set is officially released and I receive my boxes (sometime in September).

Honorable mention also goes to Jubilee by TimMierz and The Strong Angel by lightningninja.  These two cards tied for 3rd place.

Thank you to everyone who participated!!!

 ;D ;D ;D

So can we tell everyone what cards we made? (he asked rhetorically)

Yes, I might even go back and take the time to post board names with each card later (on the other thread).

You shouldn't have...  ;)

Great job everyone! To be honest... Aocp should have won. That was SO clever. Can the real aocp maker please stand?  8)

dude... that was awesome. I mean... if the contest is "most clever things to do with cards..." then you should have won. I'm not sure that people voted by that criteria... seeing that 3 out of 4 probably won because of how cool the picture was (including me).

I'll admit that I didn't like as much either. The most important things should always be near the top. The scripture is honestly, as far as gameplay goes, the least important thing on the card.

Thats just the design major in me showing though.  :P

If that was the scenario, The Darkness would have won.

Psh! If that was the criterion, my Prince of this World should have won! :P

My cards were Death & Hades and Jephthah. I didn't know everyone was going to go so crazy with their designs; I was just trying to be realistic with mine (and have good pics). Something about Babel looked really awkward to me. Tartaros was my favorite at first, but I realized it was probably just because of the art, so I voted for something else (don't remember what).

The design that got third place for me, used in Jubilee, was my second entry, a last minute addition. My "real" entry was seen in Jacob Buries the Foreign Gods:

I made several other cards using the same template, showing off different aspects of the design:

The green circle below the warrior icon is the "generic" icon.

This one has rarity noted, and shows more use of icons.

You can't. Unless someone is willing to produce the cards they made.
