 Not much but I thought it was interesting
 Face of an Angel
Territorial class
Silver and clay
Search deck out for Stephen or an            acts angel and protect it from harm or shuffle this turn.

Thanks, as It was actually Luke (my brother) that pointed out that there should be a card idea for it, so I was like while I will post an idea on CGD.  I was trying to picture myself in Stephens shoes and how comforting it would be to see an angel's face as you know you are probably going to die

I like the concept for a card based on this.  However, I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the protection, both from a power level (similar effects have always worried me), but also from a biblical perspective, since "having a face as an angel" did not protect against those who stoned Stephen.

However, a card based on this passage could certainly be an interesting idea generally.

What's cool is that actually Stephen himself was described as having the face of an angel (Acts 6:15)...when he was being stoned, he saw Jesus! (Acts 7:54-56)

Yeah, and to what you said redoubter it definitely does not have to be that ability but we should have a card based on that passage I think, it was only a suggestion for the ability. (Maybe it could be the protect him part and then discard Stephen or the angel after battle

Searching for Stephen and a good dom is way to OP.  I think the search is cool.  But I agree with JmHartz that the "If there is a Pharisee..." restriction is a must to make it more valid and playable.
