Demonic evil character... Father of Lies.
Special ability: convert a human good character to an evil character. Cannot be negated.
Unique. Not sure what the strength and toughness would be?

My thought on the special ability derives from the fact that Satan tricks Christians into believing we are an evil character instead of a good character. Hence the conversion ability.

Making a CBN autoblocker against human heroes is probably super OP. Especially with no real cost to do it. CBP with a cost to do this might be better.

Fun fact: There was a card idea for a "Father of Lies" card on the alternates list for RoJ, but it did not end up making it to the set list. I could definitely see it being a card that is made in a potential future "Gospels" set. 8)
Your version seems a bit too strong to me as that would stop almost every human Hero (especially combined with Household Idols to stop banding and Coliseum to negate Heroes protected from conversion).

As it is right now, it's way broken! i personally would make it "Once per game, you may [Cost] to convert a human hero in a territory regardless of protection. Cannot be prevented" still really powerful, maybe still too powerful, but as broken. i do like idea though.

How about this:
Once per game you may banish a random card from deck to convert an opponent's Hero to an Evil Character in the brigade of your choice. May band to a demon. Cannot be prevented.

This guy would be awesome in T2 with haunting spirits. use him, dc him after battle, decreased someone by 3/3, next turn, banish him to decrease someone by 3/3. if he's not multi brigade, throw in four for a total of 24/24 total decreases with four converted heroes in opponent's territory! that's a guaranteed takeout of at least 6 heroes!
