Regardless of protection, remove a lost soul from the land of redemption of the player who has the most souls rescued, and place it in your land of bondage.

This is an idea I had to make a second version of falling away that is not strictly better or worse than the current version, to add more strategy to deck building.  This version would be able to get around GoYS and Lampstand, but you wouldn't be able to just play it at any time to fall away a soul, because it only targets the player who has the most souls (so it wouldn't even target someone in the case where multiple people are tied for the lead in souls)

I can see your point, but on the other hand GoYS becomes a useless card.  But only my opinion...;)

GoYS is so rarely played anymore as it is it would never get played so I'd just play the old FA anyways.

Lampstand is played though, and I still see GoYS played in both multi and T2

I see it all the time because it is in my TGT deck...lol!  I like using it.

"Regardless of protection, remove a Redeemed Soul from the opponent with the most Redeemed Souls that doesn't control Guardian of Your Souls and place in your Land of Bondage as a Lost Soul."

How about this revision? It allows you to get around Lampstand and the like but allows GoYS to not be a completely dead card.

If it can't get around GoYS, I don't know that it would ever really get played.

The current one can't get around GoYS but is still played. ;)

This one would just give you an alternative. Be able to get around Lampstand and the like but restrict who you can target with it.

I did make a slight change to mine so that you wouldn't have to target yourself with it, lol. If you could then it definitely would never be played. :P

If you add the exclusion of players with GoYS, it is quite simply pointless.  Since it can only target one player (and not even that when there is a tie for the lead), the restriction makes the card useless.

I could see true discussion on this card if it gets around protection but hits the leader, particularly in T2 where you have more 'time' where people could be hit by this and use all dominants (most of the time).  Should you put this card in your deck instead of the other version, in case you lose the lead?  Will it be worth it in multi, and will you be able to use it before there is a tie for one-away-from-winning?

It was just an idea for the effect he wanted without making GoYS useless, lol. I never said it was perfect. ::)

Is there a better way to word this? I like the concept but its a bit clunky in its current form.
