Daniel cards are my current favorite so I approve adding more of them. I am wondering where Elohim really fits as a Hero. Seems like an opportunity for a Dominant to me. Maybe you want to consider the 4th "man" within the furnace for the Hero side of this?
I see your thought process. Looking forward to the final result once you're done working with the play testing team!p.s. I am currently putting together a list of card ideas from the whole book of Daniel. Will post them soon.
Do you feel like it’s comparable to edict minus cbn and with limit once on the hero side? Edict has long ruled t2 it seems along with auto Gideon Thanks for mentioning cloud Daniel! I always play and think of the promo
Here's an idea.Would it be possible to make this a dual reference cloud enhancement with Hebrews 11:34 as the other verse since Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were reprinted as cloud heroes?Hebrews 11:34, NIV: "quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies."This may not fit the precedent for dual testament cards, but I thought this would add another interesting dynamic.I like how this card aims to be versatile and fill in for what the Daniel theme is currently lacking.
As a quick note--it has long been a policy of the design team (even prior to me being a part of it) that we will not be making a Hero card to signify God or Jesus (which would include other names of God like Elohim). There are several reasons for this, but one in particular is that Heroes are vulnerable to the effects of evil cards, which theologically speaking is not how we should represent God. That being said, we will be working with JD to make his player created card as close to the concepts he has laid out here as we can.
I think TC on a ‘negate and discard an evil card’ is too strong. I do like the idea of a battle winner that turns into a battle extender though!
